Hi guys, does anyone really have a fix for the dashboard rattling issue? Been search all over google and there is no proper fix for this.

Gone thru many times on the first post for known issues but dint really found the loose socket as mentioned in the pic. Ady went to Kahmotor puchong for 1k service and i guess u all can tell how it went.

Some members said to had got it fixed but SC is in JB, is there really no one here in Klang valley is competent to fix this issue?

Been a great car to drive so far but this is such a turnoff.

Try to hit the A pillar. See it is loose.

BTW, for my car, the A pillar is loose and colliding with my front dashboard. Therefore, i buy a rubber strip to seal in between the windscreen and dashboard cover. Now rattling gone. Left only the VSC Clicking sound and also the box below driver's aicond vent there yet to be solve.

Mine rattles when I knock below the push start button, feedback this to SC they bring the car out with me for test drive... then they mentioned repaired by tightening the dashboard screw. And true enough it went off.

Seal in between windscreen and dashboard cover? Can have picture pls?
Maybe i try also...mine is a very noticable vibrating sound from inside the meter cluster top cover...when i push the top meter cluster cover forward it stopped, when i feel it softly the cover did not vibrate. It seems to come from inside the top cover 😅😟

I dont have any issue down there, so far the top cover is the one annoying. Haiz

i guess we have to live with it.

Actually when I go uneven road, the sound comes from the dashboard. But when I knock the portion below push start it will rattle as well... (way to reproduce it without going uneven road). Maybe get the SC to check on the dashboard "tightening", I didn't get to speak to the foreman who attended my car though after it was repaired.

hmm, this is something to think about. later i try knock abit see i can reproduce it or not. BTW where is the SC you sent your car to?

Do you guys turn off aircon each time before stop the engine? Or just be like "nah screw it" just turn off the engine?

100% of the time:

Start Engine → Turn on Aircond → Turn on Radio → Engage Drive Gear → Disengage Parking Brake → Drive → Engage Parking Gear → Engage Parking Brake → Turn off Radio → Turn off Aircond → Stop Engine

Hmm was thinking with current car technology wondering technically if we still need to manually do this. Same goes if we need to switch N during traffic red light stop etc.
