Hi guys gonna get my civic 1.8 WOP in 2 weeks time. Waited for almost 3 months, high demand I guess. Any suggestion what I should do for the car and any feedback so far, I was driving Kia forte 1.6sx before so hopefully its a good jump.

Hi guys, need your opinion. I am getting my Civic 1.8s WOP soon. But how do I know that the unit I have is a brand new car or test drive unit. Need all your sifu's help in advising me. Thank you

I think you can check the car meter how many km it traveled, but that can be modified if they really want. I collected mine just now with only 13km, plastic covered on seats and the most importantly the smell that suppose to appear on new car.
*
Hi bro thanks for the advise, but mine I have requested them to change to leather seat, therefore they will be removing the seats and bringing it to their panel. So when I collect the car there wont be plastic covers for the seat. sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Didn't know you can change to full leather seat with 1.8, or just wrapping? If your car is bought from Honda authorized service center/dealers then shouldn't worry if they give you old car, they could get sue badly if found doing this laugh.gif . Unless your buying car from 3rd party person.

They actually gave me an option to keep the fabric or request to change to leather. But its not factory fitted leather, they will remove the seats as soon as it arrives at the showroom and send it to their panel to stitch the leather material. Not wrapped. Agree with you with suing if its not genuine. It is actually from Honda authorized panel. Looking forward to get the car. Been waiting for almost 3 months

Hi all, just got my Civic few days back, 1.8S White Orchid Pearl. Planing to nano coat, but would like to know the pros & cons. So far the SA qouted 1.8k - 2yrs warranty & 1 touch up FOC. I believe its done at outside Workshop. Or shall i go for cheaper option of Waxing every 2 months? Please input your comment

Awesome, I will be joining the 1.8s club soon as well, will be getting mine on sunday. Have you upgraded the seats to leather?

After 1 week of driving I suddenly noticed this patch on the paintjob... Looks like it is a thinner coat over the affected area, even looked as though it is a re-conditioned bumper being attached to my car....  doh.gif  doh.gif

Is that the standard bumper or modulo set.

Standard bumper with aftermarket Modulo skirting...

That sucks right, you can bring this to SC and get it sorted for sure, the modulo is done by honda right.

It was done by agent outside of Honda.... Not the original Modulo kit.... The thing is, the uneven patch is on the top part of the bumper... I did ask the SA, and he advised me to lodge a complain during the 1K km service.. Hope HM would be kind enough to  entartain this complain... sweat.gif
*
Agent outside of Honda, did you bring it yourself or your SC helped you. Well if its the top part then nothing to do with the modulo kit. Should be factory fitted. Yes its best to lodge during your 1k service that is when most of the complain is entertained.

No bro, just planned to stick with the fabric for time being.  smile.gif
*
Cool the reason y I change is because fabric is hard to maintain especially when it rains and your rushing in the car and all the water just drops on your seat, you will start having patches of white all over the seat

*

Hi guys just got my Civic 1.8S WOP 4 days ago, and I have to say I am loving every bit of it. So far there is no abnormal sound, fingers cross it last for good. The tech in this car is remarkable and it takes sometime to get use to it. Any recommendation for car coating with a reasonable price below 2k and what are the key benefits of coating. Plus its really hard to take care of white.

grats. I'm also looking fwd to get mine too. wop is really nice color but mine is lunar silver.

I think sales person that attended to me has the least hassle, I did not ask much just sit in pax front seat went for a ride to warehouse to check stock then paid. should be getting it tmr or day after (hopefully).

imo, new gen cars no need to off ac when shutdown. I'll just leave mine permanently on.

mods to come later on as I will slowly shop n make decisions on what or what not to mod.
*
Thanks. I was in a dilemma between Lunar silver and WOP, took me awhile to choose, finally ended up with white biggrin.gif biggrin.gif . Well yeah it took me about 3 months plus to get the car as it was out of stock and issue with the loan. Its like a habit actually to off the ac. Practice since way before hehe. Yeah sure some prefer other bodykit then modulo. So do a through search before deciding as there are alot of wonderful bodykits out there. Good luck and congrats in advance.

Guys what you think about the speakers in our civic. I find that the speakers sound is not that great, it seems quite muffle. Any suggestion to upgrade and not void warranty. Cheers

I have placed order for 1.8s. Naturally it does not come with leather seats. My SA said can switch/wrap leather for $2700. Anyone has any comment on this? Good? Bad?

Thanks

Hi there which showroom are you getting you car from, I got mine from Klang Honda Civic 1.8s and requested him to change fabric to leather with 5 years warranty, modulo bodykit and tinted. He only quoted me 1800 excluding the RM 2100.00 rebate. So all together it cost Rm 3900.00 for all the 3 item.

When did you place your order for the car? Modulo body kit (front back left right under spoiler + wing spoiler) already cost $4650 but they quote you only $3900 inclusive of leather seat? Or did I misunderstood you? How much total cash rebate did they give you as it could be lower overall discount but they sell u the add on a at a cheaper price.

I get $5000 cash rebate. I add on Leather seat+wing spoiler+4 door side step light +lluminar XR35 tint=$4700

My branch is at ampang
*
Wow that is a very high rebate. I bought mine back in august 2017 so got rebate for merdeka. So the rebate they gave me was Rm2100.00. Therefore my sales person told me in order to get all those 3 items all you need to do is top up Rm 1800.00 and he will get that sorted for me.
