been always lurking around in lyn but seldom post. will be getting my civic this week if i want a silver & if other color prolly more waiting time. let's what says the dealer tmr.

this my 2nd civic, 1st was back in 1995 & it was my 1st car.

kinda upset with the issues that's still around & well i guess i just have to look fwd to deal with them.

i'll be most likely doing my tints outside then followed by coating n a subwoofer install n prooly side mirror autofold n some wind noise rubber thing.

ordering some stuff from overseas n planning to get the steering wrapped n have to sew myself i guess n small interior stuff to kinda like get rid of the "plastic" feel. might add-in some security stuffs too. i do have python kit lying around somewhere.

tbh, i didn't even test rive the car except being a front pax heading to warehouse to double check what colors that's available.

GL to present & future owners & imo despite the locally made civics, it is still a good car.

been there n did some stuff but imho handling is a little "rough" maybe get more scratch. installed quite a bit (full stereo system + subs + speakers +tint) there but not long after that here loose there got noise. maybe it was a long day & they were tired but at least it's a sincere & hardworking shop. hope it can be better.

you can diy the leather steering leather but it's gonna take a while though. maybe just me, i feel more "satisfied" if i scratch or screw up no 1 to blame but myself but if shop i "feel" more pain.

should be getting my TCP Lunar Silver day after tmr.

tinting from honda themselves 4mil with honda warranty + jpj compliance - tmr tint job
pymt today pay in full - heading to bank to pay bal

got rm 5.5k discount from honda.

service n maint wise, yes i'm afraid that most of us will have issues but for me i'm a little lucky, my uncle is service manager at 1 of the service ctr. he drove the car today from warehouse to SC to perform inspection.

lookin' fwd to drive the civic as i haven't even test drive it yet except being a pax when i went to pay some deposit.

will have long time to drive it when i get it hahaha

grats. I'm also looking fwd to get mine too. wop is really nice color but mine is lunar silver.

I think sales person that attended to me has the least hassle, I did not ask much just sit in pax front seat went for a ride to warehouse to check stock then paid. should be getting it tmr or day after (hopefully).

imo, new gen cars no need to off ac when shutdown. I'll just leave mine permanently on.

mods to come later on as I will slowly shop n make decisions on what or what not to mod.

finally got my ride !

so far so good not much sounds yet but the stock tire mc5 me thinks is a little noisy but it's good.

i did "move" the driver side A pillar, yeah it seems to be a bit loose but no weird sounds yet.

liking it so far but with all the high tech stuffs & gadgets, it does takes the drivers/new owners eyes off the road. i try to refrain myself from that.

will try to enjoy as much as possible driving a stock car for now, minor mods to come.

also trying to get used to the seats, wide & long car. did a reverse parking, gotta be a little careful with it.

don't like the interior, trunk, below HU, tail lights, still old fashioned bulb but those can be easily replaced with LED's.

here it is Lunar Silver, i opted for the middle range tint by Honda as it is covered by their warranty & comes with the official certificate so if kena saman, it will be sent to Honda LoL.



oh, waze works perfectly with Android Auto too ! . . . yeps some lag btwn HU & speedo but i can live with it.

fellow fc owners who have done ceramic coatings, may i humbly request you guys to post reviews about them ? looking fwd to get ma ride coated. so many brands/shops/services out there.
