ic... i am not too picky over the tint.. But also wonder if anyone is using them. See how's the quality
*
I will be getting mine by Saturday... Took the in-house tint by them (Ecotint) too.. Apparently it is the higher grade (RM2100)... Not too picky either and don't have the time to do it myself outside...

Will let you know how it feels when I get my car... smile.gif

I feel that my reverse camera's image quakity is kinda soft... Soft as in I wouldn't be able to make out the car number behind me if I were to engage in R gear... Anyone having the same issue?

Good to know that I'm not alone regarding the soft image of the Reverse camera.. Too bad that it's generally soft, but yeah the fisheye width is a great plus..

Anyone knows any outlet which shares the best deal for headlight wrapping/tint? Appreciate some leada for this... smile.gif

Watch out with these headlight tint, my previous car did those cheap ones at those non franchised tint shop, after sometime the tint "hangus" and then sticks to the headlamp making it not able to remove. (<2 years).
*
Noted on that...

Anyone could recommend me a good tint shop then? I am looking for a reputable shop within Klang Valley for this...

I was in Glenmarie yesterday and was quoted RM580 for Llumar headlight tint... 1 year warranty... Wonder if this is a good deal?

Got 2 quotations from 3M Subang Jaya outlet, they offer 2 options of RM650 and RM900 package with 2 years warranty..

I'm using it, got it install from the same shop shown in video, S Plus Car Acc, Seremban Jaya. RM350 with installation. The camera will be fixed below number plate. This front camera comes together with bypass video cable (which means you no need to fork out additional $$$ to get the bypass video cable separately in future - just get the wifi dongle and you can watch videos/mirroring while driving). This shop is quite famous for selling this type of front camera, they have installed more than 40+ units.

Can share photo? No drilling on the bumper?
How they wire to the Headunit?
*
Interesting... More importantly,is it considered plug and play or would it affect the warranty? I am praying hard not to scrape my bumper everytime I park my car.... sweat.gif

Finally went and did the front camera. Some info for you guys; owner told me the camera have 2 type:
1. Same as the super wide angle of the stock rear camera, 1st view (180degree)
2. Another is like the middle view of our stock rear camera.

Both type cannot switch the view (the 3 view option at bottom right like our stock camera)

He quote me RM480 for the 1st one, and RM350 for the 2nd one. I went with the 1st one, as i would like to see the whole front of the car.

Installation takes about an hour, took me another hour of waiting for a previous customer. Very experience installation by the owner, the cable will route follow the passenger front side of the engine bay, above the wheel well, and route to into the dashboard, behind the glove box and finally reach the HU (all nicely hidden).
One important thing to note, he told me need to drill the bumper to install the camera  shocking.gif (maybe the RM350 model don't need, some thing for you guys to take note)

Side note, bought screen protector for the HU from him. Quote me RM25, Seems like standard glossy film. Attract alot of fingerprint though sweat.gif

Below is how the camera look, quite hidden unless u bend down and put your head below the number plate  biggrin.gif

Quality wise..it's roughly like our stock rear camera, just that no notice any "softness". Of course not HD, but can see details. Judge for yourself.

After 1 week of driving I suddenly noticed this patch on the paintjob... Looks like it is a thinner coat over the affected area, even looked as though it is a re-conditioned bumper being attached to my car.... doh.gif doh.gif

That sucks right, you can bring this to SC and get it sorted for sure, the modulo is done by honda right.
*
It was done by agent outside of Honda.... Not the original Modulo kit.... The thing is, the uneven patch is on the top part of the bumper... I did ask the SA, and he advised me to lodge a complain during the 1K km service.. Hope HM would be kind enough to entartain this complain... sweat.gif
