QUOTE(King83 @ Aug 23 2007, 02:36 PM) i think i should be like bata and put a "IMHO" at the end of every post Wow , thats my first time seeing him saying IMHO !!! Good job then i see where this is going, so i'm not gonna start. It'll only end with us saying protein in excess gets peed out / stored as fat. Either way, as a young trainer, i'd really suggest sticking to 1 scoop like most of us here do. IMHO |

QUOTE(metalfreak @ Aug 23 2007, 02:47 PM) ah thanks...I'll do that now cheese and PB have very high fat content than protein.btw..I dont know whether my friend takes 1 scoop or 2 scoop for their prebed. they take cottage cheese and peanut butter..i think..how many scoops of whey..that I dont know Thanks jones! so if u're taking that as ur protein intake and fats is of concern to you, you're better off eating something else. IMHO |

As an ex pro cottage cheese consumer, I'd like to say that cottage cheese has among the lowest amount of fat among all teh cheezes.
Why ya'll so afraid of fat? IMHO stress, smoking and alcohol are far worse than that teeny tiny fat content in cottage cheeze. Oh I accidently terbashed someone? This post has been edited by Syd G: Aug 23 2007, 03:26 PM |

According to USDA Nutrient Data Laboratory :
Cottage Cheese (per 100g) has 12.5g protein, 4.5g fat and 2.68g carbs. Cheddar Cheese (per 100g) has 24.9g protein, 33.14g fat and 1.28g carbs. So yeah, it's not the same. I can finish one small tub of cottage cheese easy peasy cause they're easy to swallow. Cant say the same as Cheddar But you can make wicked sandwiches with cheddar cheese tho |

QUOTE(metalfreak @ Aug 23 2007, 03:27 PM) yea..my friends...they are bulking dude.. i have to be rude and blunt. BMI measurement is total BULLSHIT. its how u look in the mirror and your stamina/strength level that measures yours fitness level. im not 1 more KG to lose then i'll be in the healthy zone! ahaha =.= although i 'm aiming for 70KG >.< this month reached 72kg edi damn..lose 1 single KG in 1 month...slow progress? not weight/height. thats pure failure to measure. pro bodybuilders are 260lbs at 5 foot 11 inch. does that make them not fit? they are in the obese level of BMI but they are fukking ripped and fukking strong like spartans. |
