QUOTE(ozak @ Oct 9 2023, 11:30 PM) quite fast actually. 30min for one face.the trick is not to level one face immediately. do one face to 70-80% then to the other face 100% then come back and flatten the other 20-30% then you can roughly get to flatten the slab to the center line of the rough slab ceo684 liked this post

I have been looking for a cordless compact rotary hammer with chisel function for some time as I need it to knock down some bricks and tiles.
The current one I have, Bosch GBH18V-LI compact is small but does not have chisel function. Recently Makita has launched a new compact rotary hammer with chisel function in the 40V line, bought it during lazada sale when its available in Malaysia. Impression : 1) Almost similar size with my current Bosch compact rotary hammer. 2) Much more powerful (2.1J vs 1J) 3) Heavier too. Side by side comparison Bosch on top of Makita, with the base on the battery on same level. Makita on top of Bosch, battery on same level. Goona go drill some holes tomorrow. I'm looking for a fuss free cordless drill mainly as an automatic screw driver to dismantle some furnitures and also to drill holes or something for basic carpentry if any in the future..
Would this Bosch be a good choice? It goes for RM500 Torque: (soft) 21 Nm / (hard) 50 Nm https://shopee.com.my/Bosch-Cordless-Drill-...97-cfe89edabd58 Xiaomi drill with 30nm torque https://shopee.com.my/Xiaomi-Mi12V-Max-Brus...f6-c06827fbd76d This post has been edited by -kytz-: Nov 22 2023, 01:51 PM |

If you just want to do some drilling on wood and assemble furniture I think the flexclick system more suitable.Would this Bosch be a good choice? QUOTE(simmarjit @ Dec 25 2023, 01:41 AM) Makita 18V stuff many physical hardware store has it. For online usually I get from CT hardware or Advance Fasteners. Especially those 40V stuff, rarely seen them in normal hardware store. If you're not in a hurry, wait for Makita's bundle promotion then only buy, combine with whatever shopee/Lazada voucher.
