for hammer drill the 40v makita lose to this flex 24v.. u say leh biggrin.gif

i think the 40v tools is good but no point to spend top money as i dont need the extra power

using 18v 36v makita, and m18 m12 milwaukee mostly... already covered most of my requirements.

Ya, you're right.

The 40v torque and speed make me climax. tongue.gif Just hard to resist.

But since it is not for business, doesn't need to spend that money.

I need to concentrate back to 18v,20v range.

I wonder how is the performance between Bosch's 18v BITURBO vs Makita's 40v system.

Looking at the torque, about the same. But Makita higher speed.

Hi,

I’ve been considering to get Bosch GRO 12V-35 to cut the curtain tracks as in the photo below.

user posted image

Does it suit? Is it easy to operate?

Alternatively, is there any workshop in KL willing to accept a small job like this?

you might not able to reach the deep part and you will wear a lot of the the disk.
Maybe a grinder or oscillating Tool will do better.

A RM10 hand saw can finish up this cutting. Give you nice straight cut.

Bosch GRO 12V-35 will give you an ugly cut.

Use a grinder to cut aluminum, very easy.
Do note the cutting disc got its thickness to worry about when you mark the line.

Also, do note grinder discs have expiry date.

Cutting aluminum tracks, spin up kaw kaw to max rpm and cut slowly.

My tools usually dont come with box and had to buy. If makita, agree the lock not smooth. But can stack together.
