exactly my point. many interesting but practically useless thing from MAKITA

but some are downright good, like JOBSITE FAN using the same 18V batt. which is important

BOSCH only got ghey LED lamps, and they are overpriced. i can get cheaper and more compact one at MR DIY

This is the downside of cordless tools. You may find other brand with tool that is more practical and exiting but you do not want to start buy another battery system laugh.gif

If you are semi-pro and pro, then you cannot avoid cordless but for DIY I think corded is still okay with some basic cordless stuff like drivers.

i still prefer corded for tools, especially those high powered ones like angle grinder and vacuums

the cordless ones are too ghey. LOL

if u mahu start with 18V collection, avoid BOSCH - they are BORING

start with MAKITA or MILWAUKEE

soooo many 18V toys to play with

sincerely, owner with stuck BOSCH 18V system. i have like 5 power drills, 2 impact wrench, 3 hammer drills, 2 grinders, 1 multi tool and basically u have bought ALL of BOSCH punya 18V tools... haihs... really boring
*
The bosch 18V vacuum worth to get or not? brows.gif I was thinking I could use that to clean my prison cell aka rental room
Since I brought the drill driver over with 18V batt so I don't think I wanna change out of Bosch so soon laugh.gif

QUOTE(lucifah @ May 6 2022, 10:06 AM)
no. they are not compatible, although there are adaptors for that

what i am saying is that MAKITA and MILWAUKEE has sooooo many power tools u can choose from and collect and grow your collection

many usefull stuff also

like MILWAUKEE has that powerful angle impact wrench

and MAKITA has that awesome but completely useless coffee maker and powered wheel barrow. LOL

Nice to haves vs actual in-everyday use toys though laugh.gif

I saw someone use the makita cordless vacuum today at the food court laugh.gif

china those all fake v sia
repeating same issue. GSB120 spec at best.

It depends what u want to do..
General use drilling walls GBH 180LI rotohammer should be perfect. Lightweight and no need to struggle with cord not long enough etc.
Keep your GSB120 as screwdriver.

Else if driving screws directly into solid balau go for impact driver.

Since you have bosch gsb, then can get gdr12. Uses same battery system. For wood or fiber cement, can drill small pilot hole before screw in. Having both drill and driver makes easy change. And going up for roofwork, need to use cordless lah.

Why is Stanley cordless tools not sold as solo tool only? Every tool comes with 2 batteries & charger. Do tool shops sell them solo? So far I checked online only.
