Yeah. For serious work, go for Milwaukee
*
600 with 2AH and charger quite a good price for it. (metal chuck, 44Nm)
Gives the bosch GSB 18V-50 (metal chuck) a run for he money.

I haven't use the Milwaukee M12 Fuel drill driver yet, but there is really a big diff between plastic chuck stuff and metal chuck of GSB 18V-50. Bits center perfectly and it can survive hours of nonstop drilling.

You didn't answer me your intended use case for it..
so we can assess if suitable or not.

ie. what do you plan to use it for, and what materials you're gonna drill in.
*
Sorry for late reply, recently a lot work focus.
I am using for house light reno. Mostly are wood and tiles and some brick.
I know this may not be suitable, but, I like the compact and portable design.

Are those cheap RM200-RM300 2 in 1 mig/mma welding machine advisable for someone without experience? Only for minor diy repair work around the house once a few weeks/months, mostly thin metal

Something like this
https://shopee.com.my/product/232408386/3882444798

https://shopee.com.my/product/134435202/15903094008

Any do's and don'ts advice for newbie? Thinking to focus on mig since it is easier to learn and suitable for thin metal

That depends on few factors
1. Are you in west or soviet states of MY?
2. Must be Hikoki or open to other brands?
3. Intended use case, everyday use workhorse or its DIY/hobby occasional use only?

So (1) no issue even if u order online biggrin.gif

(2)

price wise can probably mix and match bosch to get more tools laugh.gif
bosch is pretty cheap coz of preferential duty I think; and batteries are cheaper than makita
-- sometimes assembling your own kit is better out of solo tools and piecemeal from diff sellers according to pricing, so you can customise what you need if you're not urgent to use it
-- last time I did that and I got a rotary hammer (brushless GBH180LI)+fast charger+4AH procore for 777 (old pricing)
-- add drill driver around 220 (GSB180LI plastic chuck); or GSB18V-50 metal chuck around 320
-- add impact wrench (can open truck 21mm nuts easily) GDS18V-400 around 400 when I got it, now solo tool about 445 on shopee
-- add another battery procore 4AH, now 310
=1900

I have a concern on the 1.3J of the rotary hammer.
Its a bit weak if you do heavy drilling and korek lobang (chasing), but it may be the right amount for those 5.5mm/6mm wall plugs without creating craters in plaster.

(3)
May not need impact driver (the hex bit screwdriver) if you're not regularly driving lag screws into hardwood timber;
since the kit already come with impact driver
meaning to say a drill driver + rotary hammer would probably suffice for all home use.

you don't need to buy everything at once biggrin.gif

I recently brought a GSB 180 LI , just to discovered it has no option to install drill bits holder or belt clip , my gosh how dumb i that design? anyone using this found a way to modified a belt holder or drill bits holder in this drill? im sure some creative 3d printing will help. Care to share yours method? im thinking of super glue a strong magnet at the bottom at this point...

Bit holder will make it heavier, and also dirty your bit unnecessary.
Belt clip will make it hazardous because entangle matter or sharp clip.

Just get a fitting belt holster.

Ayam newbie into DIY

Mostly doing unscrew / screw.
Drill some 18mm wooden board for diy as well.

Any cordless impact drill to recommend ?
Not sure if it's worth it to spend 300-400 on a bosch impact 12v.

no. they are not compatible, although there are adaptors for that

what i am saying is that MAKITA and MILWAUKEE has sooooo many power tools u can choose from and collect and grow your collection

many usefull stuff also

like MILWAUKEE has that powerful angle impact wrench

and MAKITA has that awesome but completely useless coffee maker and powered wheel barrow. LOL

exactly my point. many interesting but practically useless thing from MAKITA

but some are downright good, like JOBSITE FAN using the same 18V batt. which is important

BOSCH only got ghey LED lamps, and they are overpriced. i can get cheaper and more compact one at MR DIY
