The cost of starlock blade you use cutting the table probably could buy a new jigsaw from Mr DIY liao.

QUOTE(reevegoh @ Aug 28 2018, 11:48 AM)
If you wanna cut wood piece only, its better to use jigsaw
*

Hardly made a dimple. How to drill 5 more holes? Next new year also cannot finish liddat 🤦🏻‍♂️
*
ceramic tile? must use tile bits... wait till u drill porcelain tiles.. brows.gif that 1 very2 hard to drill and penetrate..

if normal tiles can use normal cheap tile bits.. but for long lasting use branded quality tile bit..

have u ever use those diamond core drill bits? hmm.gif
i wonder if its better in drilling porcelain .

QUOTE(Zot @ Jan 20 2020, 10:48 AM)
The one in the bathroom is soft (ceramic). The harder one is usually used on car porch floor. Inside house floor is white ceramic also. Easy to drill with tile drill bit like the spade shape. For porcelain, it is still hard.
*
mine the porcelain is kitchen table top. them those porcelain.. so hard to drill.. sweat.gif

I think so. 10.8 and 12V battery packs are basically the same things. They both have 3 x Li-ion batteries in them. I think someone just decided to round up the voltage of each cell to 4v.
*
ok tq.
yeah the batt body seems the same.
i got the older GSR 1080-2-Li

hey guys, any cordless china impact wrench 3/8" or 1/2" worth getting for car/motorbike repair? or should i shell out for the milwaukee m12 rm1.5k set which comes with the right angle impact wrench and stubby?

don't sit well that milwaukee sets in US are so much cheaper though.

also, which milwaukee dealer willing to discount on prices in KV?
*

which china brand u got? haha enough torque to bust open wheel bolts and knuckle consider ok la. really too old to work with ratchet and spanner nowadays especially when have to hunch over or weird angles for prolong periods.

what i like bout milwaukee is the stubby which will make work in tight spaces a breeze. china ones generally sized like a typical airgun with a bulky battery at the bottom to boot.
*
dont know what brand also.. all generics.. unsure.gif
wheel bolts if lock with airgun, i think cant open, or need more time to impact.. if normal lock around 100-120nm ok
knuckle with some penetrant oil get the jobs done.

Cheap china impact wrench also can do most of the job (for self use/diy), for most oem or kilang torq tighten.
If already tighten by air gun, cant do.. need breaker bar.

Tyre nut use breaker bar or pipe if already air gun tighten.

I managed to replace my h.city absorber, engine mounting, rear bearing using china impact wrench.
Just 1 side had been air gun by workshop need breaker bar and long pipe.. (and bcoz of the 1 side air gun tighten, the bearing failed)

Torq wrench tool also good to have.

If for serious use, Milwaukee, stanley is powerful from what i read/watch.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes I've been using a breaker bar as always. But finding it tiring to just change brake pads especially on cars that have staggered rims. Need to be really careful of not scratching the rims and apply pressure.

Is it accurate to say that cordless impact wrenches actually cannot loosen those air impact wrench tighten nuts? First time hearing this. I'm fairly new to power tools as well, always by hand only. Please go easy.
*
cheap cordless IW will help after loosening the nut / bolt. no need to use all human power taking out nut / bolt.. biggrin.gif especially the long ones..

the expensive 1 like milwaukee / stanley xr are one of the most powerful cordless IW.

Consider
Impact + Normal Drill
Hammer + Normal Drill

Which one is a better choice?
*
unsure.gif
impact, extra power 'driving' screws or nuts. (rotating motion)
hammer, 'extra' power for drilling masonry/brick/wall. (hammer bang motion)

so, depends on usage for ur drills.. laugh.gif

Sorry. I get confused with term sometimes. I meant to say the regular hammer drill vs rotary hammer drill. Not to compare impact driver. Totally different purpose  blush.gif  laugh.gif
*
laugh.gif

i will go for rotary.. even the 'smallest' rotary will be better than hammer drill..
once u go rotary, drilling holes.. the hammer drill is dem slow making holes... whistling.gif
