You need a drill only or drill + screwing also?

Also, what is medium for you? 4mm? 8mm? or 14mm hole?

If drill + screwing, better take impact drill GSB 180-LI @ RM500. 54Nm is enough to secure my ceiling board eventhough it's slower than impact driver..

Even item made in china (china's own brand) also has different level of quality. You need to visit china's own woodworking forum to really uncover what are those hidden gem from (made in local china for china brand) products.

If you just need to drill, I don't think its worth the time to get china brand.
Reputable brand in china like 东城 (dong cheng / DCA)，奥奔， 大有 (Devon), 维克士 （WORX） already available in Malaysia.

unless you want to weird brand like 鸽牌 (pigeon brand)。。。
Or used/refurbished item like makita, milwaukee, AEG, rigid, ryobi...

Want to DIY battery to replace the current wan.

I have to calculate the cost worth to DIY lithium battery instead buying a normal AGM battery. I will be put on this find out and DIY into another post once I finish this project.

Another is the opportunity to get a good price from such mAh battery. This battery I savage it from powerbank that lucky someone sell it at tradezone cheaply to me. That's how I end up with this capacity.

And somehow in ebay, I get another box cheaply in this capacity. (mainly testing on how this custom tax on such battery)

Brand like LG, SS, panasonic, sanyo, sony are famous in the market. They are main manufacturing in the world.

For china brand, have to be carefull. But LS from china is genuine. Not sure about lifespan.

I have many 18650 lying around for many yrs. The good wan is really can last long.

Those china fake wan, I throw away. Useless. With less than 1000mah, it can't last long.

You have to learn the characteristic of how to takecare lithium battery. Not easy.

This morning I almost burn 1. Because put wrong polarity.

Fake wan normally no marking, drain fast, less weight and less cycle charge. I use special charger to test it. It will show all the figure it is fake or good.

Normally have marking model on the body that easily can find out from the net.

2 day ago brought a PB. I wonder why so cheap but want to try my luck. Open it up and see the battery is fake.

What cause the battery explode and short lifespan is the overcharge and discharge too much.

For led light, just let it charge la. My led light also same. It preprogram to charge to certain voltage and cutoff. But how much it drain your battery, I not sure. My led light battery is already 3yrs and still good.

Lithium battery have a spec of C for each brand and model to guide. (c= charge/discharge currrent)

go for rotary[B] hammer/drill if you are drilling into cement,concrete.
once you go rotary, you don't go back 

if you want portable, there's always the cordless with battery option.

that's a battery powered impact drill.

generally those that can go into concrete will have the word impact or rotary.

difference between them mechanism wise, impact uses gears and clutch to create the hammering function while rotary uses a piston and a column of air to create the hammering, resulting in a vastly stronger hammer.

anyway........as for your picture, it is hammer plus drill, drill only, and the last one better ask the shop attendant. maybe it is drill with torque limiter.

U want power? GBH18V-26. My corded hammer drill has never been used since then. It can also double as a demolition hammer if u have plentry of batteries

yes, can use as a screw driver too

if you want only 1 tool that can at least drill holes in cement walls, then spend more and get the GSB

If you don't mind Mr DIY brand, I saw a cordless rotary hammer there for rm199 I think.

Get the cord bosch GSB 16RE set. Than a cheaper cordless driver.

I have been using GSB 180 Li, for screwing plaster ceiling & wood, drill walls for plastic wall plugs and even hack a small hole for my washing machine pipe with 12mm bit.

Totally worth it, RM500 for a mobile power tools for all my DIY home renovation project.

Guys, im planing to buy a cordless drill to drill brick wall to hang stuff and do some basic screw work. any brand and model can recommend?
