Pardon this interruptus :-)
Bought this table saw online for RM550 yesterday.
Have not got anything cut yet.
Regretted buying coz forgot i live in a terraced house.
Its noise may offend neighbours.
Any takers at a reduced offer?
Can be re-boxed. Warranty by seller 6 months.
Thanks. biggrin.gif

You meant the box only?

I don't think they sell box separately. Only comes with power tool on version that comes with the box.

When buying wired drills, usually it comes with a nice hard plastic case.

Cordless drill and rotary hammer devil.gif must buy the version with hard plastic case. Some are cheaper but it comes with a rather useless cardboard box/soft tool bag/no box editions especially for solo unit.
Ditto for grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, usually just comes with cardboard box.

There are a few sizes of that hard plastic case. 12V box only fits 12V stuff so unless u have a GSR120 or just want it for drill bit/screw storage its a bit too cute to be used.

I need one for my oscillating tool that comes in paper box, but it has hard box for storing blade though biggrin.gif

I did not see the shop has the casing and I thought the model has no hard casing laugh.gif

I am looking for the tool box only 🙂
The one you share break easily too. So far the most reliable and tough is the round corner type (one show in my ealier post). The L-box stacking is really not that practical for storage.

Usually for Bosch, if the same model were available for Euro market, they have plastic inlay for Lbox.

Unfortunately you have to order overseas for the inlay.

Are there ways to get the dewalt dwe 745/7480 table saw in Malaysia?

Wanna get those with rack & pinion fence.

Those sold on shopee & lazada (dwe7470-B1) are pretty much Stanley table saw with dewalt label, I think.

Too bad can't get sawstop in Malaysia though.

I don't think so. Even if you can find one it will not be covered by warranty because it is not for Malaysia market.

No, the Dewalt is not the rebadged Stanley. Stanley sliding slot is non standard and Dewalt miter gauge cannot fit inot Stanley. Not sure why Stanley does that.

Ah..

I would've thought so as Dewalt is a subsidiary for Stanley Black & Decker. So re-appropriating one product as another in different region/market won't be too far fetch.

These two look alike to be to say the least, but I suppose the color scheme plays a huge role in shaping perception.

Guess I'll just need to import in the DWE745 from the European market next time I'm around then. "Need" that rack & pinion fence badly. laugh.gif Sawstop is just too unreachable for now.

First u must decide the tool.
18V drill driver can get GSB (with light duty Bang "impact" function) or GSR (reversible, no bang aka no impact mode)
then see if get whole set or piecemeal (batt+charger+solo tool) is cheaper.. prices vary also if u include the hard case

18V rotary hammer for me it was cheaper to order batt+charger+solo tool w/hard case from 3 different sellers than buying from one source in a set

Stanley merged with Black and Decker in 2010, but Dewalt was acquired by Black and Decker way back in 1960. So, it is more like serious DIY version of Dewalt under Stanley badge. Black and Decker is for occasional home DIY.

There are many review on the 745 vs 7480. Even with same motor, the 745 has slightly less ripping power with lower rpm probably due to compactness in design.

Now there are newer model than 7480 which is worth a look. smile.gif
