Noise cannot do anything. You make noise, then neighbor make noise. So, even So depends on neighbor. Probably just don't start working at 7am

Hi all.. would like to ask for opinion. Is this brand better compare to Bosch?

or any other recommendation.

Sorry i do not have any knowledge of power tools but plan to buy as a gift.

This is one of big name for the US manufacturer. Bosch is German. In general, this brand is more expensive. I'd say both are comparable.

I have a table saw too, as long as you don't run the table saw everyday 9am to 9pm I think your neighbor should be fine with it.
I only use my table saw occasionally as I just a hobby DIY user.

Table saw pakai sekejap jer, satu project go through 6 pieces of 4x8 on pun x sampai 45 minutes kot. Tapi the sound makes me weary. So i do it at my biggest property, biggest land and with known neighbour tidak ada. No load noise pun sudah like Yamaha SS2 vrooooom!

Second would be the mitre saw, tp itu pakai lagi sekejap and lagi jarang.

On par with Bosch level but this one is expensive due to American branding and shipping involved. Bosch can be cheaper due to having more production factories and higher sales volume (in MY).

Is the recipient starting off with DIY work? or already has a set of tools on hand?

Should be okay.. if on good terms w the neighbour just heads-up them I'mma be making some noise on this date this time so they can go out for food or something
People tend to be less if pre-informed.

IMO grinder noise on concrete can be a problem but wood cutting shouldn't take long for the noisy part.

More than 100dB SPL when cutting. My cordless circular is less than 100dB when cutting, noise level is more than double. My wired Makita pun not table saw noisy. But i see online some ppl are saying circular=table sound level.

But still, figuratively mcm x banyak, but i can cut using my circular without earplug. I cannot even switch on my table saw without one.

The table saw noise is amplified by the table itself. It cannot be less or equal to circular saw

I think for occasional woodwork, circular saw is enough

Table saw more noisy because the table act as a speaker box.

My bad, my cordless is 80dB (not 90dB) thus 100+dB vs 80dB, no brainer. the table saw punya noise, but 9dB=4 times noisier anyways. On the table amplifying I dunno, that is something new, cant google that. And, my table saw is universal motor anyways, bukan the big ass induction.

HOWEVER, once ada table saw...once ada table saw aaa, you would hate your circular saw, haha! Susah, inaccurate, troublesome - that coming from me with a cordless saw and kreg accu-cut jig

When i have to cut something my table saw cannot i would find a way to be able to use my table saw, paling cikai la my sliding mitre..kalau xdpt, ada sad sikit in my heart. Thus kena beli panel saw liao, but no place to keep. I pernah gila 4x8 18mm blockboard crosscut on table saw, no in/out feed, lone ranger buat.

As guide every 3dB increase actually 100% increase of sound energy. You need a 200W amplifier from 100W amplifier to increase sound just by 3dB

I think with proper jig you can cut board as good as table saw. It is just that it takes a bit more time for preparation. I want table saw but probably use once a year and main problem is no place to keep growing tool unless stay at kampung

kenot one, with proper jig+a lot of time you can cut almost as good ONE TIME, the accuracy and repeatability and consistency haywire.

I haven't really survey on Bosch prices yet but the seller mention Milwaukee warranty 2 years and if anything wrong they will exchange a new one instead of servicing unlike other brands. (claiming this is best brand compare to other brands)

Recipient likes to be handyman once in a while not always though and has no tools on hand but borrows from friends (most of the time Bosch) whenever needed. Not sure if by having own tools will start DIY more or not. Maybe will i guess haha.

Operating noise lvl is around 75db (at minute 13:45)

maybe becoz of this tubing design frame which make it lower operating noise level?

it is possible Milwaukee dont have service center here, I am not sure.

Generally, most local industry user/contractor use Bosch or china brand. Some use Hilti is due to their company's global contract.

I believe at least got Penang and KL service center. Got HQ in KL
