“Even if the authorities upgrade Malaysia’s Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) railway infrastructure as a cheaper alternative to the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high-speed rail project, it may still take time and need substantial work. And the move may turn out to be penny wise and pound foolish further down the road, with Singapore and Malaysia left behind while other countries pursue a regional high-speed rail network."

Even some developed countries also do not have HSR ma! biggrin.gif

Singapore very smart...

Tun M better not fall into the "trap"

if they die die want HSR.. then pay 50% of the cost (I'm being considerate here.. not so hardcore ask them pay 90% of the cost)..

win win situation here...

Hi, whether High S p e e d or s _l_ o_w speed train, it not piratical & effective.!? innocent.gif hmm.gif

1st - China has so may of this HSR cause all within their territory or county !

2nd - now they can check in passenger via face scan (not to mention scanning 4 security purpose), very fast & efficient !

Ref : "Suspect caught in China at music concert after being detected by facial recognition technology"
link = https://www.theverge.com/2018/4/12/17229530...-music-festival

3rd - when reaching the Johor cross way, one still need to get down & embark later for passport check etc.... !

4th - the final price of the ticket ; eg. if i go to KLIA or KLIA2 (shopping mall ! rclxm9.gif ) , alone taking the KLIA Ekspres train , is ok , only cost of a single pax.
but, imagine a family of 4, u do the maths x4 x2 - (w return)... might well dial Grab, which comes to pick u at yr door step & drop in front at airport !
5th - if we can do away with this $ sucking (4 nothing) Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) , i think taking Airasia may be more time saving / cost efficient (thought not necessary cheaper)

New MB will focus on Labu as Aviation hub, not heard any news of MVV, or maybe aviation center is part of MVV, dont know, as for BSS no more focus from state gov anymore i think because BSS is not under his DUN area like previouse MB, new MB is DUN sikamat so goodbye BSS after PH rule N9. No progress so far for hospital, no new operator to replace Taiwan's Changhua yet as for now. But for new road in front of hospital i saw it is continue. BSS need to self sustain like its moto without government support anymore

Quick check with current owners staying there. On Symphonet BB, are you able to stream video properly? On Netflix, I don't seem to be able to get HD videos even thought Speedtest with more than 10Mbps. Can't even load RTM1/RTM2. sad.gif

I guess will need to wait and see how things evolve over the next few months. With Labu as a Aviation/MRO Hub, it will still create some spillover into BSS's residential, commercial and industrial developments (altho I'm not sure of the amount).

Is the government agencies still relocating to BSS as planned earlier?. This would probably help to improve the prospect of BSS even further. Anyways, moving forward, there is still a lot of opportunities for BSS to tap into especially with the new linkage to KLIA, development is N9 itself and hopefully new economic projects such as MVV and others.

Anyone keen to share their opinion?

You're not alone. Especially during night time keep "loading / buffering" . But normal surfing or Youtube is fine.
