You sure? Log into your router, go to ‘Advanced’, then ‘IPTV’, then click on ‘Mode’, and select ‘Malaysia - Unifi’. LAN1 will be for IPTV as a default, and LAN2, LAN3, and LAN4, is Internet. Enable ‘IGMP Proxy’ and ‘IGMP Version’ v3.
Yup, i discovered this part, i think i choose IGMP Version V2 instead of V3, will try again later, now went out for dinner.
Btw i found out a user review in Lazada stated workaround as below, he said need to connect the STB, my STB i never used at all since i installed my unifi 8-9 years ago, i got astro installed so i didn't need it, i also forgot where i keep
For the MAC clone portion, i try to get the value from my old router but when applied in tplink router it keep said format wrong.
Tips:
1) The dropdown boxes in the setup has sliders despite looking like it doesnt. At first i thought the selections in each dropdown was limited to what was shown, but you need to click and drag the right side of the dropdown to slide down to additional options.
2)Make sure you connect all cables including the STB (Hypp Tv box) in LAN1 even though you don't use it. Then start the quick setup. In my case it failed to connect.
3) Then setup the IPTV (despite failing the setup above) for malaysia-unifi in the advanced/network/IPTV tab.
4) I had to use MAC clone of my original TM router (found underneath the router). Choose 'use custom MAC address' and key in your original router's MAC.
5)Turn the router off & restart the modem, once it connects (around 2 mins) then turn on the router on & wait for it to connect.
6) In my case the internet connection LED only turned green once i opened the STB and opened hypp tv. Once it connects you can turn the STB off.
7) Have patience. For some reason this router takes more time to connect. While the original unifi router took 1min or less, this one takes 2-3 mins. I always leave my routers on 24/7 so its a one time annoyance for me. LOL
