If I'm not mistaken, ADSL2+ (current modulation for Streamyx nowadays) should be able to support up to 24Mbps download. Even my current Streamyx 8mb are capped at 10Mbps download speed. The only downside will be upload speed which max at 1Mbps (ADSL2+ Annex A). All this will be subject to distance.
What Unifi Lite via copper line does, they change the card at the DSLAM from ADSL2+ to VDSL2 to support that 5mbps upload speed.

What is BTU? Sorry... New to unifi... so I have the fibre connecting all the way to a huawei grey color box... I think it is the modem or BTU ... then from that grey box to Tp link archer wireless router via Ethernet. The cable connect from fibre to the grey huawei box is via a soft white cable...
