Just go to tm point directly. That is what I did... smile.gif

I believe some agents give "rebates" though, which is taken from their commissions from the sales.. not sure the legality in that though. Also, the agents may have better customer service (perhaps only up to the point that the service is installed, but that may be better than nothing)

While Im here, id like to know if my contract would be extended if I "downgrade" from VIP30 to the lite...? If it will, will I also get new equipment or should I simply stop the current out-of-contract VIP30 and then register for the lite?

You have to download the hypp tv everywhere APP on your phone. You cant watch with your existing Hypp TV Stb.

After your registration is complete and unifi is installed, TM will send you the login name and password through text message.

The Hypp TV app is actually very well made. I love it, I prefer watching it on the phone vs on the STB or windows web browsers (I cant get it to work actually, they need some plugins)

TM limits the use of two devices per ID only. Have you exceeded your allowed quote of devices?
*
On your 3rd device Hypp TV would simply as which device you would log out of, and you can still login to the current device

Ive been Unifi's customer since its inception in Subang Jaya but i dont expect them to give me any discounts... so bye2 Unifi laugh.gif

Thanks.

when you are using devices on the Unifi network (wifi, lan) and go to the iflix site OR open the app.. they will automaticlaly recognize you as a "member" you can watch all their shows

it can be a little buggy though

I was using unifi on copper lines at my apartment, unifi advance 30mbps. the installer had to come and check if my apartment/wiring would qualify for the speed. it did, and i used the 30mbps speed for more than 2 years

now Im using Time haha, 100mbps at RM149, no comparison. TM jahat wo

got my unifi lite installed. was surprised that the stock router that they provided for Lite was the DIR-850L.

speed is considered decent for the Net speed. i'm on VDSL connection, thus getting around 8mbps DL and 4.2mbps UL
*
when I was on Unifi Advance 30mbps, i used VDSL too

Mine is the same way....one long cable from the telephone pole to inside the house, and it's plugged in to the optical network unit. But they did a neater job with the cable and also sealed up the hole with white cement. However on the acceptance form, they still differentiated between outside and internal fiber even though it's just one long contiguous cable.
*
hurm, maybe so they can make claims... fiber work should be more expensive due to the higher care that you need to give them
