Nope.

Although I wonder if you add extra packages will they enable STB support?
Or what about subscribing Jumbo Pack with your Lite?

Miri also allow unilite rm129 in my area through agent. registered yesterday.
upgrade from streamyx 8mbps to this.
woohoo

but tmpoint said not available this rm129. only can rm149. wtf
better go through agent.

You will know it is fiber when they connect a new wire black in color... thin but like hard wire type... that is fiber cable...

dont know. installer didnt come yet.
if fibre should have FTB installed on the outside wall of house i think.

My area is covered with UniFi few years back, sometimes when I see there is a UniFi booth or roadshow, I walk to their agents and they told me no such UniFi Lite package even it is promoted, dang!
Once in a while I also received calls from TM (+60342334000) which offer me upgrade to UniFi Advance (30Mbps) plan, telling me the benefits of UniFi, but when I ask UniFi LITE they always say no such package, fed up with them. vmad.gif

Yesterday I went to TMPoint Kulim for my Streamyx reallocation. Bad news my previous streamyx speed 4mbps are not support at new residence area.. They downgrade to 1 Mbps. The staff proposed me their Unifi Lite package at RM149 for 10Mbps. At first I do not interested because my current streamyx 4Mbps only pay RM88 (2010 package 1 Malaysia Broadband with HP Netbook) .
But after search the Lowyat Forum and found that we can subscribe the package at RM129 (without 600 minutes call free). So I returned back to the TMPoint and request for the upgrade.

Today received a call from TMPoint Kulim and they did thumbprint for verification of subscription. Now I need to wait for 18th June for installation.

My Question are:

1. Do we need to pay any cost to the contractor during installation?
2. Can someone screenshot their first bill, TM staff mentioned that my next bill will show 2 month advanced pay.

shouldn't pay contractor anything, refer to installation guide on first page.
can't help you on bill as i havent fulfulled first month yet.
