dont think so, it's just a post-transaction notes, has no valuable info to trigger a transaction. furthermore, there is SMS notification or OTP to your mobile.

thanks.. means can just throw it once received. or keep max 1 week, maybe..

keep few days lor, until unbilled transaction posted into your card. check via internet banking.

who knows sometimes there is erroneous transaction from merchant, then can dispute.

A complete noob here.
Sifu please help.
The problem is Im working in japan currently and you all know the official language is japenis.
So, in order for me to apply credit card in malaysia, will the japanese official documents and my translation do? if not, what will i need?
I need it because i heard it will be easier to apply loan in the future if you have a credit card in malaysia. if it is false, then i dont have to go through all the hassle.

I don't think so because i can apply loan i cant apply credit card

I wonder why Malaysia credit card so strict ...

I work in oversea too... i can apply loan to purchase my house and car in malaysia on same bank. Then they offer me free for life credit card because i got 2 loans with them then i apply ...in the end cant get through. I gave them my oversea income, oversea bank statement, oversea tax then local income. Everything request gave ...they even call my company in oversea to verify.

Then end of the day ask me put FD RM7k to get a credit card with credit limit RM7k ...what a joke ...and i reject.

You don’t pay your car and house loan, bank can repossess it.

You don’t pay your credit card, bank has nothing to repossess and worst still you are not working in Malaysia. If you can’t see the logic behind the 7k FD then the jokes on you.

there is a reason why credit card is known as unsecured loan and why rm7k fd is known as collateral to the cc/unsecured loan.

Good news for me.
Thanks for the information.
Since I already own 2 credit cards in Japan, not having a Malaysian credit card is not an issue for me.

Temporary credit limit increase is entirely up to the bank's decision, they may only consider for emergency purposes like hospitalization, funeral or stranded in overseas.

Hi, one noob question, what could be the reasons that I got rejected for my recent applications (tried to apply for Maybank2Cards and CIMB CR Card)? My salary is above the minimum requirement, and I have no cards/loans at all.

No credit history could be the reason too.

Hi, regarding Maybank's 2 Gold cards (Visa & Amex), in Maybank2u online when I check on the details, each card has a given limit of 8000. Does that mean the total limit is 16k, or just 8k?

I read somewhere in this forum, there is no way a shop can charge our purchase if we swipe our credit card right? For example, i bought RM100 good, and they said credit card will be charge 5%. Is that normal?

Other than the above, some shop does not accept purchase with credit card below RM50. Is this normal?

Thanks.
