I wonder about sym reliability as Im already being face slapped by demak ex90 for its weak engine and 2.3k km starting to play funny music already. Feels like the bike is 70cc

got video compare with KTM duke? Wonder what makes it feels heavy, maybe it's a power cruiser instead of sportbike/motard, increased wheelbase? rake angle?

But at 14k, this is very tempting. Wonder what's the normal price later?

alot of vids on utube dominar vs duke 390.

Dominar kerb weight is about 28kg more than the old duke. it has only 2 liters more petrol than duke @ full tank.
The xtra weight comes from different chasis and other parts.

Yes increased wheelbase, the rake angle looks more than the duke.



The engine capacity is the same.

Exactly which part has changed, and different spec, this info is bit hard to find?
Have to dig indian forums.
There they seems to be not that interested in taking both apart and compare.

Once the pomen here have done so.. the duke390 will be even more targeted by thieves cos..

they could swap in duke piston to increase compression, swap cams, swap intake, swap injector, swap ecu maybe?
convert to single spark plug. etc etc...

it is corrected to show power n torque @ the flywheel instead of rear wheel.

Hmm not bad for 14k bike, I can lent this to my younger brother that just received his B full license last year if I'm bored with it. Coming from cruiser, I think I'm okay with the specs based on video on youtube, but still need to feel the bike, see if riding position actually comfortable.

duke 790 stock pipe is just ok nice.. no nid too loud...

sport tourer but
- no windshield.
- heavy kerb weight.
- HP lower than R25

i exceeded 140kph meter maximum on karak highway downhill.
on gps about 130+kph

not bad.

gohtong uphill on the other hand... lets just say i weigh more than the kapchai on full gear (around 100+ kilos)

Which bike?

Dominar will be a hit because of the price. RM 14 K for a 373CC bike is quite good. But whats the price before discount. If its 18K, then tough.
