Oh but I'm so attracted by that 27-liter tank, since I'll need to commute further after June because my office is shifting out to Mutiara Damansara.

That almost doubles the current 15-liter tank, (27 liters of fuel = 27kg) which I think contributes significantly to the porky 275kg all-up weight.

Weight in itself isn't really an issue per se, but whether or not it makes the bike feel top heavy is the real question.

Mmg top heavy bro plus load in boxes lagi. But torque might be bit lacking that even 650 versys rider said when testing/switched to vulcan s said the later is stronger, can overtake in topgear.

Any one had the chance ride both the Triumph Street Triple RS and 2018 Yamaha MT-09?

Currently contemplating getting either one of these but have only managed to test ride the Street Triple.

Tested both bike, MT-09 is damn not stable above 180 km/h, its like the bike is riding u. I dont know whether this is a design issue on MT vs Street triple. Both are new bikes.

got $$$ go for speed triple... unless u yangmahal fan.... kikiki...

yamaha never claim the mt09 is for high speed riding...

they say it is full or torque like a wild horse which is true...

they want a bike that is different from usual....

for speed can always go for R6 R1...

Putting aside the high speed stability, which ride did you find more enjoyable? (I know this will differ from person to person)

Already have a CB500X for daily work commute so the next bike will be a 'weekend' bike.

Urkh, 900rs. Im so not into that kinda look. And had some pointers from owner of mt09 the jerky bastid throttle model, remapping the bitch has turned it into manageable monkey. With more speed, he traveled the same distance I would take with my vulcan s basikal. Damn thing.

You test ride the 1st gen MT-09 is it?
..

The 2017/18 version I read somewhere they tweaked the suspension.

Speed tripe especially the R version was made from long tradition of Daytona series, so its like a supersport but converted to Street Naked.. so the geometry still for kelajuan cahaya...

While the MT-09 was designed from the scratch as Street hooligan bike.. unless they put the inline three into R6 or R1 chasis then you got the stability...
