curious to find out what actually is the KTNS GP250 series retro bike...... ?

user posted image
user posted image

the engine is actually a " wanabe " copy of the old suzuki engine from TU250

user posted image

should be alot of china manufacturers are producing the "copy" with the code QM250

over here the bike is being sold way over priced with a carb engine,
compared to the Bajaj with more modern tech.

for eg over in the UK, it is marketed as MASH Black 7 with EFI and ABS already...

look at how crazy the speedometer is when it is going faster than 100kmh.... rclxub.gif

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE! ITS NOT RELIABLE AT ALL.

a friend owned it and sold it not long after modified the look. Often stranded by roadside because fuel pump. engine semput after a while and engine often died suddenly.

Yup. But even if the battery is not showing symptoms of dying, after 3 years, just change lah. Later if not, tangkap tempat lain plak... all those coils, rectifier, etc.

Thanks . Mine just 1.5 years already, kinda worried since I was being sarcastic to this HD fanatic owner/group member so cant lose anything to him. We're heading to Sg Petani tomolo for its bike week.

And surprisingly my dad, even after restoring his Jaguh, went to buy that Modenas Pulsar today. I brought it home from the shop for 30km ride, didn't pull anything more than 6k rpm but maybe the bike reflects a glimpse of what an mt09 should feel at least on sitting position. I felt a bit of strain on my back and hugging the tank doesnt feel good at all because of its shape. Power is meh but maybe it's because ns200 spits max torque at 8k rpm.

I don't know why he got interested over that bike when truly I'm not impressed at all by it. Hmm, thanks for the lead. If this happened to my dad's bike, sigh.

Excellent find bro. Thanks. Couldn't dig more as Im currently having to play along with fellow bikers treating our bike at Sg PetaNi bike week.

Sadly, today two of our bikers' friend died en route home after escorting their group halfway, which they have breakfast and refuelling at the same check point as ours bfore the climbing up to Gerik, swept by a loose Bezza. I even shake hand with the deceased when they're having breakfast and still remember one of them friendly and excited face.

SYM Malaysia's website is quite crappy though. Not updated with the latest updated models yet and also with ''brake" spelt as "break''. Wonder when will they update it

Just curious why they want to do that...now that we know that the speedo is inaccurate vs GPS speed, will they do something to improve it? hmm.gif
