many ppl ask... what is the maintenance cost of XXX bike...

actually these infos should be provided by the maker of the bike, and make available @ all dealers...

so consumer can see for themselves....
4 pcs for front brake pad of MT07 cost RM540...  biggrin.gif

wait till u see the recommended price of a benelli bike for brake pads... provided by Mforce....  biggrin.gif

why the EO so cheap? 3 bottles for 49.95? should be so otherwise the total charge column will be higher...

are they using mineral oil for 10k km service interval?

but considering the pricelist... normal servicing quite affordable at HLYM for an MT07... brake pads kinda expensive though heh

Most of the big bike brake pads are on the range of 170 RM and above for 1 pair... Unless those big bike who can use kapchai brake pad into their brake caliper, but then the biting power might be different...

Eo engine oil if Yamaha brand we will never know what generic oil grade they put into the container..

This one confirmed case of all 1st Generation ABS equipped by Harley.. the ABS module made by Delphi Automotive, not Bosch as in those Continental bikes..

From 2008 this issue already happening.. cause death of many bikers especially in US.. but only now HD acknowledge and do recall..

Most of these bikes already potong the ABS function and almost 100% HD bikes on the list above running without ABS function..

and for MT09 is 6k after first 1k..

Just for precautions.. change your Brake Fluids at least 1 or 2 years once.. if the bike hardly use (Weekend ride) change it every year.. if use daily changed every 2 years... for ABS and Non ABS.. prevention better than cure..

Same as your radiator coolant... (for Liquid Cooled bike)... change it every year.. extra spending but better in long run...

Can test in Glenmarie also. I tested GS Rallye. Suprised by it's agility, very close to GS800 manouverability.
Next test is GSA1200, was taken out by someone last Saturday, probably for Rimba Raid

Oh but I'm so attracted by that 27-liter tank, since I'll need to commute further after June because my office is shifting out to Mutiara Damansara.

That almost doubles the current 15-liter tank, (27 liters of fuel = 27kg) which I think contributes significantly to the porky 275kg all-up weight.

Weight in itself isn't really an issue per se, but whether or not it makes the bike feel top heavy is the real question.
