Just change it bro. All willl be better.
Bro, what do you mean? You can update to noip or dyndns on the ‘Advanced’, then ‘Network’, then ‘Dynamic DNS’. You can make your settings there.

Wireless coverage for n56u average only. So i sell it already. Currently looking for a replacement router. But running the router in padavan is the best.

i dont know what padavan is but ok. hehe. was about to go flash back to tm firmware and try my luck with c7 but u said the 06/17 firmware is better than c7. so will try that for a while. have u tested c7 as well??

By the way i cant flash back the firmware to tmnet firmware? anyone know why?

should i enable tx beamforming?

I am an ex- archer c7v2 user. I sold the router due to the wifi is quite weak. It has an awesome spec, but average coded firmware causes the wireless to be weak. First of all, what router you are using currently? C7 or C1200? Second, why you want to flash to tm's firmware? If I were you, i wont do such move. You can enable the beam forming or disable it. You can refer here.

If you're using archer c1200, i will say, if c1200 has a stable firmware, sorry dear c7v2 users, this c1200 will be a beast. Since the firmware for c1200 is buggy, hence it limits the router's performance. The router comes with an awesome specs. Yes. Even Im using Archer C1200(EU)_V1_170616 firmware. I disable some of the features to make the router to be stable for time being.

I disable the usb sharing, print server. Thats all. Some say by disabling SPI Firewall, the cpu load will be less. I personally test it and find that, it is same as I jump into a sea full of sharks. The performance of the router when spi disabled were slightly better. I turn off the led's so that the router don't overheat (although i put a cooling fan).

The only thing I like in c1200 is, the wireless performance and we can turn off the led's. For such router for the price, i can say okay. If and only if c1200 have a stable firmware.

You are misunderstood with SilentVampire bro's explanation. He says that, its common to receive complaint on archer c1200. However, there is another way if you don't wish to change your router (c1200). You can flash the router to EU (Australian) firmware. It is slightly better and make the c1200 stable for time being. Reboot issue still happens, and there are few reasons behind it. One, cpu load (try to disable features such as usb sharing, print server, reduce the transmission power (wifi) and put on a cooling fan so that the router don't overheat. When i did such thing on my c1200, my router stable until now. I was tested asus n56u, archer c7v2, legendary dir 615, i must say, the c1200 after flash aus firmware, it does improve and if there was a proper firmware developed, c1200 will be a beast for low end dual band routers.

Read below for bro Jjuggler excellent explanation. They won’t just change it for you as they won’t acknowledge it is a common issue and even if they do change it for you, they will give you another C1200, or the DIR-850L, which is okay, but not that good as well.

Hmm.....starting to think C1200 random restart might be hardware issue instead of firmware....

https://amigotechnotes.wordpress.com/2017/0...-automatically/

The article is about Asus RT AC1200G, but SOC is similar/same as TPLink C1200 (with C1200 SOC being slightly tweaked new silicon)

They will give you the DIR-850L or another C1200, or rarely the C5. Won't be anything too good, but worth to ask.

Ah, you could potentially have the same problem again then.
