I switched few times from MasterCard to Visa to MasterCard again due to some promos but these days never bother as I never use the card for years.

master card have contactless ? no?

Not for Maybank cards, at least on my M2Cards MasterCard and Ikhwan MasterCard.

Just quick question, i not sure if this question been asked for many times. If i wanted to do some house renovation, and i wanna convert the payment into installment, is it possible to get 0% interest? I heard that some time in the year there will be 0% installment available.

Just charge to your other cards and do 0% 12 months BT to your MBB card. It has promo now.

My advise don't change this. Get al-Ikhwan MC as well. This way you will have all 3 cards from Maybank.

Is't harder to apply Maybank 2 Platinum Card for first time CC holder although I meet basic requirement? Or have to go through Maybank 2 Gold Card first?

the banks always look up your other commitments， i.e. loans repayments , to see your payment behaviour in order to judge your reliability to qualify for credit card.

If you don't have commitment, probably can try with the easiest card with the least income requirement, then build your credit history from there.
but no harm trying with gold card, too.

I also tried to apply for a Platinum one, but got rejected without any reason. Possibly as what laymank said above....

But I also learned from IMoney that Maybank has one of the toughest (and even lowest) CC approval.... this is why they are not promoting them anymore now. Is that true?
