Guys,

need help here. I tranferred 3GP files to my P1i via bluetooth. I save it in folder named "private" in memory card but from file manager, i could not find the folder. who knows how to locate this folder?

suspect you save it in phone memory instead of memory card

memory card bro...

if its in mem card, try to remove mem card and use pc to access

but usually file transfered are saved in inbox unless u view file and save from the program.

i never turn off my phone during charging. how to make and receive calls if turn it off?

either you use other file browser, like swiss manager pro, or connect the phone to PC as file transfer mode. this 2 way i said can view any folder, while the built-in file browser in the phone and file manager ic PC Suite only browse the "SE" folders

Mobile Review website has a review on the W960 and they compare it with P1i...so do read it if you are considering both this phones.

I'm also considering these 2 phones as well....weighing the pros and cons now

Just got my P1i AP set for RM1600 with 1g plus 512mb card.
Overall pretty good, cant really do a review on this cos this is my first PDA phone.

But I got one problem, I dont seem to be able to pull out my simcard from my P1i. does anyone face the same problem. help.

the only things that interest me wif W960 is walkman 3.0 and the bundled A2DP earpiece.
if asking me to choose again now, with the affordable price of P1i, i would say P1i suits me better. cuz even topping up a A2DP earpiece would most probably still be cheaper than W960.
and firmware hack also will make walkman 3.0 possible in near future.

virgin phone is a lil tight.
try to press the sim firmly and drag it out slowly.
you need some friction to bring it out

I too faced the same problem initially. Apparently it was my SIM card that caused the problem, as it has jutting edges which prevented a smooth exit from the SIM card slot.

I had to get the SC guys to remove the SIM card for me. Sigh. sweat.gif

Im using opera mini 4.

The respond time to slow compare to build in opera, this is because different platform. But u get to see the full web page as in pc.

I still havent test it at Starbuck where using flash login.

how do i locate the defaults sounds folder? in c:\music\sounds ?

Hi, hi... i am the guy who has got wifi issues before. And now i am back. Just wanna update. My wifi has got no problem. I think the problem is the wifi, compatibility. Coz i can log on in some places and cant in some.

i tried at tmnet hotspot, no issue, able to connect.

able to surf with linksys wrt54g, no issue..

it depends on how you configure your router.

unlike k750i/w800i etc. P1i doesnt need default folders, although, you have D:\music for M2 stick, and C:\Music for phone memory, you dont actually need to put MP3 there to be read by the music player, cause the music player have a search function that will search all playable music on your memory.

hahaha...same like mine, I lost a brand new unactivated simcard because of this phone. The simcard seems stuck, I pull it too hard until the card fly down into my gear/handbrake cover in the car, and lost without a trace....hav to pay RM25 to maxis to replace the simcard. Very unfortunate event.
