Hello, maybe this question can be ask here.
Actually I have graduated in mechatronic engineering. What actual subject that I need to empowering or predominate if I have been called by Rapid petronas for mechanical engineering. Have any clue? Just for preparation

First, altho u did apply for other (big) companies, doesnt mean u will get any of them 100% as im sure they are receiving many applications

But then again, SMSO is supply chain department dealing with inventory, sourcing etc which doesnt really match with electrical eng background

when is ur interview? i heard they have stopped recruiting for RAPID (at least for the time being)

yeh, thats the reason why i rejected the offer. The position is a managerial position, not a technical one. My job scope has to do with checking contract, meeting with contractor, engage non performing contractor (got a chance to scold them hehe) and all manager's stuff.

now i'm hoping for others' offer

That's what I've been told. RAPID is also known as ORTC. I thought batch 5 was the last one yet I still get recruited. Only when those people who are in this programme resign they will start hiring again

My timeline:

Handed in my resume on March 1st, got a call and attended SI on April 1st, received offer letter exactly a month later, May 1st. Attended PIPE on the 15th.
Quite fast I'd say. I'm no Petronas scholar, and I've got no relatives/siblings/cables whatsoever in Petronas. Hope that sheds some light
