Where was your SI session?

Hi, I have a simple question. I am told to put my expected salary in my application form to apply for a job in PETRONAS Floating LNG1 (PFLNG1), but I don't know what to put. Can someone suggest an amount or a range of amount to me? For your information, I am a fresh graduate with a master's degree majoring in chemical engineering from an overseas university.

I've waited for 8 months after SI and finally received the offer but I haven't decided whether I would accept it or not... good luck ya

oh..ic..congratz too you...now you are in the waiting phase...just be patient...i had and passed my SI 3 weeks ago and now still waiting HR to call me for medical checkup letter and placement..but the best way is keep on calling them to follow up your status of placement... 

I got a rare case actually.

I was offered a drilling position in January,but due to NS  (i jump class during primary school,and postpone my NS since i was studying that time) i had to postpone my report duty. I sent my NS letter highlighting the period of my training. since it ends in mid march, i was quite confident that i would get a placement in april.

HR told me that i would be offered with other position once i am available. The thing is, when i called HR and tell them that i have finish my NS, she said "wow why so fast u finish NS.2months very fast eh".later i asked her about my placement and she answered "I'm sorry, position for april is full already.I have to put your name in a new list and wait for other department to select.There will be a new intake maybe around June or July". I was like WTF!!

Once selected,why would i get into selection list again? plus, some of my juniors already got placement in March/April.Clearly she had missed or forget about my case.

Petronas HR very disappointing.Didn't answer to call,e-mail,slow with work,forgetful etc2...

i'm dealing with Ms.A

since it has been 6 months,i don't know whether im entitled for a release letter or not

I stopped waiting for awhile and hunt somewhere else. Better have back up.

I applied for non-technical position. First they put me as a candidate for Business Development Exec. But the offer I got is for marketing exec

Petronas is a great company to work in IF you dont plan to work overseas. As petronas is a Malaysia company so their working area only covers Malaysia and mostly in rural areas like Terengganu and Labuan, Sabah. Totally no entertainment at all. If you wish to have an increase in salary, i suggest schlumberger, an international company. You'll be earning dollars instead of Ringgit!

Think twice before u make your choice! =)

So u ask petronas kerteh la to push klcc hr to give u offer letter, so many thing to do after u got that letter... Must go to LHDN, get bank statement, n many form to settle down...hahah

it is possible to change HR who incharge us during SI since there are no any updates made by the HR regarding job placement more than 1 month already.. called her and no answer...

Hi guys, right now filling up the forms before reporting for duty, my hand getting tired already.

A few questions, the witnesses in the Service Agreement and GTLA forms we can find anyone right? Or do we have to leave it empty for PETRONAS staffs?

Now need to find the ink to put my thumb print on the GTLA form. 

Dear Sifus, what does reserved candidates mean?

in the email the HR said im a reserved candidate, they have problem issuing the offer letter because she said...wait for it......"they have no office space currently"...ikr  lol.

the department she mention was pcsb drilling.

i've been waiting for 5 months already since i graduated, 6 months already from my SI.

any1 knows whats currently going on in pcsb klcc?
is it that bad the situation...does it look like im gona have to wait longer?
