if buying perodua X variant only , is that mean that car no FULL ECO MODE ??

The X variant also has the green ECO indicator in your dashboard meter, just that the X variant lose out on the ECO IDLE function which switches off the engine when the car is idling.

I'd recommend you to get your car's wheel arch undercoated by Sh0rty 5. I've did mine already and it did reduce the water splashing noise by quite a lot when you're driving during rain and when the stone hits the wheel arch. At least 50% improvement compared to one without undercoat applied. I also noticed a slight reduction in road noise, prolly about 8-10% at most.

so in conclusion , better get the ADVANCE variant will be much better right ?? it also included the hill assist and VSC function

i want to grab a new car badly but due to my budget problem , i hardly make a decision now ..

how about the warranty ? 5 years is included part and labour in perodua

Personally I'd suggest the Advance as it has all the latest safety features such as VSC, TRC etc. You won't know when these safety feature may save your life next time (touchwood). I've heard from some other forumers that Perodua is giving way attractive discounts for the old tonggek model Advance. Perhaps you can check that out if budget is your main priority.

As for the warranty, the 5 years warranty is applicable to the engine only, not the entire car. For the detailed breakdown of warranty length for other parts, have to refer to owners manual.

ahneen, if money is the problem, why do you just diy. Get the material from shorty, and do yourself. It is not that hard to remove the seats and open up some plastic panels to remove the carpet. With DIY, you easily save 50-70% of the costs.

Really?? Anyway I placed the order when the new version was not yet in existence. They told me that demand for Ebony Black was rare and there were not even a single black produced in March 2017. I waited nearly two months for it. Frankly speaking I didn't care if they had given me the old version AND still give me the rebate. I still think since it is the commitment they had given me when I placed the order, they should still honor it even if they could only give me a new version. That is not an excuse to cut my rebate!!
