Newbie here. Please add me to the list. Advance, Ebony Black, Alor Setar, Kedah.
I made a mistake by ordering it from Triumph Point S/B, one of Perodua sales agents in Alor Setar.
Chronology:
Made the order sometimes in February - SA promised a RM2,700 rebate.
Waited for a month and a half due to the non-availability of the color
Get the car on 2nd of May, 2017, but they said no rebate due to new model (less tonggek)
Try to get the SA to give me something (voucher for tints, free gift and such) but I was given NOTHING! Totally NOTHING!! Not even a piece of small towel to wipe the mirror.
If anybody in Alor Star is interested in buying any model from Perodua, avoid this SA at all cost. Fucking useless!

QUOTE(amad108 @ May 5 2017, 02:21 PM) hermm.. as i know, newer updated model dont have any discount or anything to offer.. so i dont expect a lot of freebies when buying a new model just launched or facelift or updated.. but if u still insist the discount and a lot of freebies, the SA should just offer the old model.. that's how it should be done.. or perhaps no stock for old model anymore at your SA place? Really?? Anyway I placed the order when the new version was not yet in existence. They told me that demand for Ebony Black was rare and there were not even a single black produced in March 2017. I waited nearly two months for it. Frankly speaking I didn't care if they had given me the old version AND still give me the rebate. I still think since it is the commitment they had given me when I placed the order, they should still honor it even if they could only give me a new version. That is not an excuse to cut my rebate!! But thanks for the enlightenment, anyway. Have a nice day.

QUOTE(life27 @ May 7 2017, 01:27 PM) so in conclusion , better get the ADVANCE variant will be much better right ?? it also included the hill assist and VSC function i want to grab a new car badly but due to my budget problem , i hardly make a decision now .. how about the warranty ? 5 years is included part and labour in perodua IMHO, if you are buying the advance version only because you are attracted to the ECO IDLE feature, then don't. This is an untested feature that even the SA have no idea how it might impact the car starter. It is also a troublesome feature. Once, I wanted to reverse park my car, so I stopped at the parking lot. As I was about to engaged the reverse gear, the engine stopped, and it took about 10 seconds to restart. I always switch off the ECO IDLE now, and I fervently wish that it could be switched off PERMANENTLY! Have a nice day.

QUOTE(amad108 @ May 9 2017, 12:50 PM) ya, this one does come up my minds.. that features its the first they tried it.. but now many case like you bro, u did refer SC about this matter? it could be serious matter if not rectify it at early stage.. but only advance model does have ESC and TCS.. that safety requirement also plays a major role why i choose advance.. if not my first choice would be 1.3 premium x manual.. Yes, I did ask the SC about this, but from their answers, I gather that is the standard "behavior" of ECO IDLE. So there's nothing to report there. According to them, it is working as intended and advertised, so you either use it or you don't.

QUOTE(eclectice @ May 10 2017, 07:10 AM) Bro @mat_shark, 10 seconds are too long but it never happen on my Bezza 1.3 Advanced which only takes 1-2 seconds (very short delay) and it shoots as fast as you press the accelerator pedal, leaving other cars behind the traffic light. Better bring your car for ECO-IDLE sensor and battery check. For time being, you can turn it off with the ICO-IDLE mode button. OK, I will. Then again, I always switch the ECO IDLE off anyway. But thanks for the insight.

QUOTE(reloaded @ May 16 2017, 02:25 PM) Would it be possible to use the Bezza Advance rims with slightly bigger tyres (tyres that are a bit taller and wider)? I've changed mine to 195/50/15R with 7JJ rim and filled the new tires with helium gas . Cost me RM1,900. The shop took my original rim and tires for RM450. Total paid 1,450. Now I believe the car is more stable at high speed. Money well spent I think.

QUOTE(Jasonlee1603 @ May 15 2017, 11:02 AM) I just did wheel arch, RM388. If full undercoat then you have to check with him. What kind of undercoat did you apply?? I sent my car for tar spraying for the whole underfloor and wheel arches and it only set me back RM 250.00

QUOTE(ozakitime @ May 17 2017, 05:23 PM) Hi does ur tire hit the fender when full load? I am also considering 185/55/55R... Not sure which size is better... How many percent improvements u will rate after upgrading? Thanks I wanted to install 55 at first, but the shop guy said the tires might touch the arch on full load. So I chose 50 instead.

QUOTE(jtan.pdr @ May 18 2017, 09:12 PM) hi, may i know how's the difference as compared to originally without the tar? where did u do this tar-ing? According to the Sales Agent, tarring is an old practice that no longer required for "modern" cars as they had already treated the underfloor area with anti-rust. But the sight of naked metal seriously did not instill any confidence in me. I did it at a workshop in Alor Setar, but I think it could be done at any car bodywork workshop. You might get it done even cheaper at lorry bodywork shops I think. But, from my observation, their works are a bit shoddy and they use lower quality tar.

QUOTE(imationyj @ Jun 12 2017, 06:31 PM) I asked two SAs they both did say can just add a layer on to the security film. This is what I did. There's no point removing the original safety film as it will only involves additional cost and time.....and its warranty is void any which way you choose to do it.

Peace be upon you.... I have a question. I connected my iPhone to my Bezza's bluetooth. I really like the fact that I can answer my phone while driving without having to even touch it. But after that, my Waze application went quiet (no voice from the phone) if I am having the bluetooth connection. The app still works fine, just in silence. Any of you guys experience this?

I am having two minor problems here.
1) The USB phone charger (near the handbrake) is not working as it supposed to. Whenever I plugged in my phone (iPhone 6) the charger only maintain the battery power, not charging it. So, say if I plugged in when the battery is at 30%, after one hour of being plugged in, it would still be at 30%. I said 'maintain' because if I use the phone for calls or Waze while being plugged to the charger, the battery power does not drop either.
2) I couldn't seemed to be able to make the Waze application on my phone to "speak" to me(you know..."in the next 200m, please turn right"...thing) whenever I have the phone connected to the car bluetooth (an essential feature to me). Having to take a glance at the phone every time I reached a junction is not only an inconvenience, but also dangerous. Can anyone tell me what to do to make this work?
Sorry if these problems had been brought up and solved before. I simply have no time to scour through 41 pages of postings. My car is Advance version.
Thanks a million.

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Oct 11 2017, 10:04 PM) Guys anyone change tyre setup to 195/50/15??? I just change it to this and i didn't do any research till now, is it true this will inpact the car Fuel Consumtion?? If true around how much fuel consumtion would i lose now? I did. Now I am using Bridgestone Potenza 195/50/15. The shop took my original rim and tires for RM 450. Fuel consumption did come down a bit to about 17-18 km/l which led me to believe that F/C still depends a lot on driving style and conditions, not much on tire sizes. But the car is more stable now at high speed on the highway. Not much difference in the level of road noise tho'.

QUOTE(Edis0n @ Oct 16 2017, 12:40 PM) RE003? what price you get for the tires bro? Not sure what RE003 is. Sorry. The set of rims is RM880 and the tires, the inlet tubes and labor set me back another RM1,020. Total cost is RM 1,900.00 less RM450 for the traded-in rims and tyres.

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Oct 16 2017, 02:39 PM) Thanks for replying bro. Glad i am not alone. hehe Do you mean from full tank till need to refill you notice you lose about 17-18 from b4 changing tyre setup??? What was your consumtion like b4 new tyre setup? Before the new tyre setup, I used to get about 20 km/l. But I am living in Alor Setar. Not much traffic jam here. Very patient and non-aggressive driving, mainly on state trunk road. The green ECO light seldom goes off. I have to travel 15 km one way from home to work and back. Usually takes me about 20-25 minutes to reach my destination. A full tank of RON97 usually last about 8 days (home-office-home). Sorry for the late reply.

QUOTE(shinkawa @ Feb 24 2018, 05:52 PM) New year, new things to do with the car. hand itchy. LOL Done Stiff Ring and Hood Insulator » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=9615710] [attachmentid=9615711] [attachmentid=9615713]
I'm interested in installing the stiff rings too. These are the benefits, supposedly: -Improved handling -Improved steering response -Offer precise turning angle -Reduced vibration -Reduced noise -Promote comfort cabin -Pro-long undercarriage parts life span Except for the last item, in your opinion, does any of the other "improvements" work?

QUOTE(shinkawa @ Feb 28 2018, 04:16 PM) -Improved handling = Not much -Improved steering response = Not much -Offer precise turning angle = Not much -Reduced vibration = yes -Reduced noise = yes -Promote comfort cabin = yes -Pro-long undercarriage parts life span = yes another thing i notice, brake seem better. If you brake hard, your body will launch forward more. Thanks for the reply mate! This post has been edited by mat_shark: Mar 1 2018, 11:07 AM
