Anyone have problems starting the bezza? Few days ago my bezza cannot start. Can here the cranking sound but then stop. Lots of warning lights all show. End up need to tow the car to perodua service center.
*
Wow sounds serious. Please let us know what did Perodua say is the problem?

So far what we know is lower rear bumper to cover the boot/exhaust

Chrome color aircond switch

Can refer to funtatisko/ptan
But one most important thing that I wish for....
More comfortable rear seat...
*
That's cool! So nothing change under the hood?

Haha I hardly take passengers, normally just me and wife, so uncomfortable rear seats not really an issue for me..

It was resolved in 2 hours. After towing it to service centre, they said its some cable fault. Like cable came off or something (maybe cable to the car computer). I didn't really understand. When the tow truck driver came to tow the car, he told me its most likely cable problem and that its quite common problem with bezza. This was eventually confirmed by perodua.

I also surprised got this problem the car only 3 months old.
*
Thanks for the info. I am still curious, did this cost you any money? Or all FOC, including the tow service? Thanks.

edit : added "2017 Bezza Update" to first post.

Let's all call our SA and ask if perodua will offer a special bumper-fix program for existing bezza owners. Not a recall but a free or discounted bumper-fix or even a rebate so later we can get an oem bumper ourselves. If we make some noise, maybe Perodua will listen.

QUOTE(Tawneys Bimorph @ Apr 16 2017, 09:55 AM)
Hello.

I'm planning to get Bezza Advance in June this year. I'm stuck between choosing the exterior colour.

Sugar Brown looks more dignified, less in your face and more grown-up. Plus, dirt will be less obvious and from my anecdotal observations, its rare to see a Bezza with this paint colour so there's some unique factor to it as well.

On the other hand, Ocean Blue looks really nice but they are quite commonplace.
*
Sugar Brown owner. Agree with all the points for sugar brown. Lol for grown up. At the end of the day it's really a personal choice isn't it. Right now, true, sugar brown is less common, but I am noticing more and more on the road recently, so maybe not that unique anymore.

That said, anecdote here: once, before I got my bezza, I saw a sugar brown bezza from far and I actually mistook it for a vios, due to similar brown color.. that kind of sealed it for me, sugar brown was my color. (Haha I'm a vios wannabe). Helped that I liked the brown too.

Looks like u got to choose between practical (sugar brown) or purely like (ocean blue) for you.. At the end of the day I would say go for what you like. That way u will feel good about your car.

Edit: have you seen red though? I think that's actually rarer than sugar brown.

I don't know about you but as for me, I think when I saw Bezza with Red colour, it suddenly makes me think wahhhh..., that's the Bezza with 1.0 cc engine even with X or ADVANCE logo over there. I don't know why I think like that laugh.gif
*
I actually get that feeling too. I think coz red is such a racing color (Ferrari etc) so a red car with 1.0 engine is kind of mismatch maybe. Anyway I think it looks nice.

do u guys feel bezza steering turning weird? like it won't auto turn back to straight after turn/u turn.
*
QUOTE(iRonTech @ Apr 18 2017, 11:46 AM)
after u turn, steering wheel need "manual" turn little bit then it only auto turn back to straight, yours same too?
*
yes mine same too. yes, it doesn't turn back by itself fully. this is normal. someone posted about it in V2, if i remember correctly, it is because the bezza has electric steering. i'm not too sure exactly what that means, but it seems the slow steering wheel response is pretty normal.

ethangool

just sharing my tips for one of the known problem have been listed

3. From P to R is very hard to engage

The solution....or is not really a solution for it but it will just works

The proper way of getting around the hard to engage issue or a sudden loud metal banging noise when engaging to R is

Engage into Neutral (N) > Pull HandBrake > Release Brake pedal > Engage P

by doing this 4 steps above....is guarantee that you wont have that issue anymore and you dont need to pull maximum handbrake, as new car all it need is just two clicks.

3. From P to R is very hard to engage
This actually happens to me.. but I found out why.. (for me at least) it only becomes hard to change from P to R when your P brakes engage (meaning, after put into P the car still moves slightly). So what I do is prevent my P brakes from engaging... when parking : keep foot on brake, push gear into P (don't take foot off brakes), pull handbrake till really maximum. This way, the handbrake stops the car moving hence no need for P brake to engage, hence not hard to change gear later.

the solution listed by you it may help reduce the hard engage but to ensure totally no pressure on the P gear is to follow the steps i listed.

Hey thanks for sharing this useful feedback. I'll try it out and update the first post accordingly.
