QUOTE(ShengHeng @ Jul 24 2016, 03:01 PM)
Test drove the 1.3 Advance variant. What i should say is what u pay is what u get. Dont expect anything better than vios or city or any of your b segment car.
The car feels heavy to be driven. So its very suitable for new drivers. But at the same time, it feels very lazy to move as well, so maybe thats how they manage to achieve a very good fuel consumption. Brake is decent for a perodua cars. A little throttle lag for this car too.
The eco idle sounds rough to me when the car auto restart back the engine. Yes, the aircond, radio and every other thing else operates except the engine, so no worries.
There is an electric power steering as per the SA, but to me, im like driving a larger car with hydraulic power steering, and the leather wrap on the advance variant steering dont feel any better. I would prefer the rubberised one. Same goes to the speedometer for the advance variant which looks abit cheapo to me. And the central locking isnt functional on the driver side's lock switch. Its only functional on the specially built-in central locking button found on the dash.
The entire car is from a very thin structure. The seats are short, so u feel there is alot of legrooms. The doors are thin and so u feel a little more spacious. The floors are super thin till u can feel every humps and lumps on the frame, especially the reat seats. The car is super light till the entire car shakes even when u close the door gently.
On the positive side, yes, it saves fuel and its a perodua! So, im pretty sure the maintenance cost and others comes in less expensive. Resale value for a perodua is rather good, afer all, we are malaysians and we prefer perodua, toyota, and honda just to name a few. It is spacious on the rear seat, and it looks alot more larger than the axia although it is of the same width amd height of the latter. The boot space i doubt thou as it appear not to be so spacious to me, or maybe its just me. However, hard plastics are to be found EVERYWHERE and the bold lining across the passanger dashboard isnt any piano black finishing.
What i do love is the feel when u open the door from the outside (or maybe its a new car) .. it feels so solid! Wear and tear maybe?
Anyway, to me, yes the car hits the right pricing spot. The only thing i would like to voice out is why the car is so underpowered!? I believe the similar engine used in indon variant avanza isnt that that bad. I would say attrage is a better car but of course u need to pay more. 1.2L mivec engine with low horsepower and torque count still gives u more satisfaction. Now there is a plus point for those who own an axia since axia feels better in overall because its small and cheapest, hence we dont demand more. Bezza, on the other hand, is more towards a game changer car and so ppl tend to expect more when the price is already so cheap.
To me, the difference of price between axia and bezza (of the same specs of course) is the cost for the extra boot (not including vsc, push start, etc which is missing on the axia)
Thats all for my review on the 1.3 advance variant

QUOTE(ApikKirito91 @ Aug 17 2016, 02:13 PM)
Assalamualaikum/Salam sejahtera, sedikit review selepas seminggu menggunakan Perodua Bezza. Sorry my review in Malay.
Model: Perodua Bezza 1.3 Advance Auto
3. Setakat ni penggunaan minyak untuk long distance amat memuaskan.

1. There is a "tik tik" sound coming from around the dashboard area near the driver side
Pending answer.
2. Lots of noise coming from the back
This is normal because bezza doesn't have good noise insulation, please read some reviews on the Bezza.
3. From P to R is very hard to engage
QUOTE(herojack41 @ Apr 22 2017, 12:08 PM)
ethangool
The proper way of getting around the hard to engage issue or a sudden loud metal banging noise when engaging to R is:
Engage into Neutral (N) > Pull HandBrake > Release Brake pedal > Engage P
by doing this 4 steps above....is guarantee that you wont have that issue anymore and you dont need to pull maximum handbrake, as new car all it need is just two clicks.

4. My steering wheel feels like it's mis-aligned a little bit to the right
A few members have this issue, some went back to Perodua to adjust, but alignment can be done outside as well. Ranges from RM25 (normal machine, about 15-30min) to RM200 (for those sifu, manually adjust, min. 4hours).
5. Faulty brake lights
Please do check your brake lights from time to time.

6. My windscreen or windows start to have many tiny bubbles under the tint, what should I do?
QUOTE(nemesisz @ April 1 2017, 04:03pm)
My SA told me that if the tint got tiny bubble just go to the service center, it should have warranty. Bezza use sahara-x tint with have 5 years warranty that cover bubbling, cracking, peeling, decolourisation, delamination and demetalisation. Claims should be made 30 days of the occurence. But you must bring the tinted warranty booklet. If no booklet, the warranty is invalide. The booklet come when you buy the car. Its the thin booklet.
7. There is a rattling sound coming from my dashboard!
QUOTE(shinkawa)
Bezza dashboard got gap between windscreen. Same goes for behind too.
If got rattle noise coming out after your car aged, try install rubber strip that can be bought from Lazada

3. Upgrading Rims? Please remember details below:
PCD - 4X100mm (Can refer to HERE, just look for Axia cos Bezza too new)
Recommended not to go above 55 thickness, as it will scrape against your fender, unless u roll it. Use Stopper or Adjustables Absorbers if you need.

review for upsizing to Alza 15" alloy rims on Perodua Bezza.
6JJ, 185/55/r15
grip is significantly better, feel a little tiny tiny heavier on steering feel.
better high speed stability, i mean BETTER compare to original, mainly due to the increase weight of 1kg per rim.
cornering is also better now, in the same corner, original bezza rim, must brake before entering corner, at 90 to 100kmh, if not will feel swaying and the car pull towards out side of corner. with upsize rim, today i cross the corner at 110kmh maintain throttle.
better cornering ability is due to lower profile tyre than before. with thinner side wall, thus provide better handling and better respond. wider tyres also contribute to better handling.
overall a good investment and a good decision to change. i will try to compare fuel consumption and review again. but, i believe wont have a big impact because the difference of weight is 1kg+-

From previous thread
1) Establish SmartLink connection first when USB debugging mode is activated. It will install EasyConnected Server service silently and activate Drive Mode app.
2) Make sure you see EasyConnected Server is running as service from Settings > Apps > Running list on your smartphone
3) Close EasyConnected Server service from its Info panel
4) Close Drive Mode app
5) Open Waze
6) Double-check EasyConnected Server is no more running (I am sure it is not running unless your USB connection is broken; reconnect the USB cable will reinstall EasyConnected Server when in SmartLink mode)
