Does anyone here experience transmission issue?

Sometimes the transmission on my car feels like a "kick/thud" when it upshift. For example, you accelerate and suddenly lift off the gas pedal. The transmission will upshift into higher gear to reduce drag from lower gear and this is when it happen sometimes.

It has been like this since first week. Is it normal?

1.3 Auto, 6K mileage.

Same issues as you bro....I think is normal because when i test drive the same experience happen to me and now owning it I sometimes feel it when u slowly excelerate rpm around 2k and speed around 50 to 60 km/h. I bring it so SC and they say no issues. It is interesting to see what other say.

I'd recommend you to get your car's wheel arch undercoated by Sh0rty 5. I've did mine already and it did reduce the water splashing noise by quite a lot when you're driving during rain and when the stone hits the wheel arch. At least 50% improvement compared to one without undercoat applied. I also noticed a slight reduction in road noise, prolly about 8-10% at most.  rclxms.gif

how much for it.. nowadays car, the undercoat is not as older car.. maybe they cut cost there..

I just did wheel arch, RM388. If full undercoat then you have to check with him.

Would it be possible to use the Bezza Advance rims with slightly bigger tyres (tyres that are a bit taller and wider)?

Bezza Advance, Premium, and standard are all the same rim size. 175/65R14

However, the Advance rim design is different from Premium or standard. Premium and standard both use the same rim.

I also noticed that the Advance rim is slightly heavier than the premium (or standard)

The max that you can go with stock 14" rim will be 185/60/14 tires.
But do remember, it will make your ride slightly bumpier than standard size tires.

I've changed mine to 195/50/15R with 7JJ rim and filled the new tires with helium gas . Cost me RM1,900. The shop took my original rim and tires for RM450. Total paid 1,450. Now I believe the car is more stable at high speed. Money well spent I think.

The material used for my car's undercoat is rubber instead of tar. Perhaps that may explain the price difference. hmm.gif
