I read some reviews saying that the Rumble / HD Rumble is actually better on Joycons, is it true? If yes, do you find the difference significant?

True to a certain extent. The placement of the rumble mechanism and how your hands wrap around the JoyCons more fully than a Pro Controller also attributes to that impression.

I have not played a lot of games with Rumble HD features as one of its attraction. I hate 1,2, Switch.

Not many can say otherwise for 1 2 Switch, I think it's just overpriced.

Speaking of Rumble, has anyone tried playing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero? I was planning to get the Steam version because it is cheaper (plus it's summer sale now!) but then I read that they made some changes for the Switch version (e.g. HD Rumble) and I would prefer handheld for platformers, not sure if it worth the extra $$$ or should just wait for a sale.

It's overpriced because it's just a collection of mini-games collated into a cartridge. The last time Nintendo did that for a console release, they bundled it for free. (Wii Sports).

I got Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on the 3DS during a humble bundle a long time ago.
I don't like it. The fact that you only have one regular same hair melee attack most of the time feels a bit boring to me.
Shantae Half Genie Hero share similar gameplay but with much better graphics.

Sounds good for a handheld version for on the go purpose. If I get it it will be on PC tho.

It's pretty good tho the Switch version, lacks some stuff, and that story mode, but the other stuff is still there. Manager mode and FUT.. the one that I used to play a lot.

I am considering getting a Switch in preparation of Splatoon 2, so some items that would give the Switch some coverings would be good to have. The particular item I have listed seems to have most stuff, like card cases and the "LCD film" (I presume that's a screen protector?). Is this a good recommendation?
