QUOTE(stringfellow @ May 18 2017, 05:25 AM) Here's the kicker: only in first person mode. But the other kicker: no proper d-pad on Switch to do precise quarter-circle motion to play USFII on the Switch properly. Inb4 "use Pro Controller", that's like plastering a band-aid over a problem instead of solving it - offer single side JoyCon with proper d-pad as bundled together with the game. That'll make the USD39.99 price for a game that's more than 10 years old more palatable. Yeah. Street fighter 2 is very badly overpriced.Even street fighter 5 can be found brand new for half the price. |

I was this close to getting a wiiu for Pokken, glad I didn't as the far superior version will be out for the Switch.
It's pretty much all I can ask for this Nintendo Direct announcement 1. Pokken DX released, with all the DLC from the arcade version + Decidueye (best gen 7 starter) 2. I don't even have to wait that long, as it'll be released in September 3. Pokken was the driving force for me to get a Switch, just like Kingdom hearts 3 was the driving force for me to get PS3 and PS4. Luckily, Nintendo delivers unlike SquareEnix. As for Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon. I hope the post league content will be a lot better. Now, for them to announce Smash for E3 haha. This post has been edited by LegendLee: Jun 6 2017, 11:30 PM |

QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jun 7 2017, 12:07 AM) On Pokemon international website they actually put the game available on Switch platform as well, but TBA and then removes it completely. I hope this version of pokken will be 60fps even for local multiplayer. Most were disappointed cuz it didn't come to Switch, as for Pokken those who bought the Wii U version probably won't buy it again, meh. Maybe some surprise on E3, not long now anyway. |

Not sure why the massive disappointment in the recent Pokémon direct.
It's more likely for switch owners to own a 3DS than a wiiu. Thus it is also more likely for switch owners to have played sun and moon than pokken. Also a remake like stars for the switch will probably be 95% similar to the sun and moon on 3DS but with better graphics. I'll be more hyped to play a great game I've never played than a "remake" of a game I played less than a year ago. And if you really want sun and moon with 1080p graphics, you can just run it off an emulator at 1080p or 4K. So yeah, I am really happy they announced pokken so soon for the switch. I'll be disappointed if they announce stars for the switch rather than pokken to be honest. This post has been edited by LegendLee: Jun 7 2017, 06:29 PM |

I'm sure a game freak Pokémon game will arrive to the switch. But not this year. Maybe next year or the year after.
Didn't they put up an ad for that ? |

I leave mine docked pretty much all the time.
I guess the system should be smart enough to prevent overcharging. But yeap. When I take them out and leave them for a few hours. It's still at 99-100% |

QUOTE(blurkia @ Jun 26 2017, 11:32 PM) Hi Bros, just gotten my self a switch! Have a ps4 though, decided to check out what's the hype here haha. Anyway, anyone knows if it's cheaper to get games from Japan store or US? Can we actually have 2 region accounts? Thanks! Take note that Canada/US might tax the games online as well. Japan has the cheapest e-shop. Once downloaded, it will follow the language of the region your account is in. So you can buy with a Japanese account and then play with a US account. Must get zelda. It's better than current rpgs on PS4. I find it to be better than horizon zero dawn. |

QUOTE(guilt79 @ Jun 28 2017, 11:40 PM) Hi all, Seems like your house have a lot of 2.4Ghz connection. Just got a switch. First day, left joycon got problem already. And wifi keep dropping.. any solution? Need to stand next to the router only can access internet. Does your router has 5GHz option ? Anyway, there are a few DIY ways to solve the joycon issue. I don't like opening up my controllers so I bought a Pro controller. |

QUOTE(Lamwaunga @ Jul 1 2017, 09:53 PM) Not many can say otherwise for 1 2 Switch, I think it's just overpriced. I got Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on the 3DS during a humble bundle a long time ago.Speaking of Rumble, has anyone tried playing Shantae: Half-Genie Hero? I was planning to get the Steam version because it is cheaper (plus it's summer sale now!) but then I read that they made some changes for the Switch version (e.g. HD Rumble) and I would prefer handheld for platformers, not sure if it worth the extra $$$ or should just wait for a sale. I don't like it. The fact that you only have one regular same hair melee attack most of the time feels a bit boring to me. Shantae Half Genie Hero share similar gameplay but with much better graphics. So nope. QUOTE(stringfellow @ Jul 1 2017, 10:29 PM) It's overpriced because it's just a collection of mini-games collated into a cartridge. The last time Nintendo did that for a console release, they bundled it for free. (Wii Sports). Wii Sports > 1-2 Switch.I purchased this second hand for nearly half the price and I'm already regretting it |

QUOTE(winstein @ Jul 7 2017, 01:39 PM) I have just ordered a Nintendo Switch from Impulse Gaming. Wonder when it will arrive. Probably not today, from the looks of it. It's the Mario Kart 8 + Pro Controller bundle, but I am more interested in the Pro, so that works out for me. Gotta prepare for Splatoon 2! Surprised they don't have a bundle for US. By the pro. You mean the pro/cons of the 8bitdo controller right ? Has anybody used one of those 8bitdo controllers on the Nintendo Switch? I noticed that Impulse Gaming are offering those at what seems like a decent price relative to the original US dollar value. The Pro seems to have most of the buttons of the standard controller, save for gyro and amiibo functionality, of course. Thank you for reading. Don't know, I don't exactly see the point. Portability =joycons. Comfort = procontroller. Not to mention the L and ZL buttons are linear rather than stacked. The actual procontroller have gyro and amiibo. |

QUOTE(N30rang3r @ Jul 15 2017, 10:50 AM) Nintendo Switch bending or warping? Mine is very slightly bent. Is it a real thing? what about your systems? any of you have this issue? I heard it's due excessive heat / playtime N-Switch bending / warping 90% docked and 5% table top and 5% handheld though. |
