From what I heard, Splatoon 2 is only Japanese version, unlike ARMS which is multi-language. Not sure that would work for me.

Even without ARMS purchase on Amazon you can still save money like ￥892 right now. It's selling at ￥5,566 atm.. which is around RM210, not including shipping. Probably would be good if you want to bulk order with some Switch accessories.

true, in eshop only japanese language for splatoon 2.

not sure about the digital download code or boxed edition. if they are japanese only then its not worth to get it there.

Joy-Con
- Expensive @ RM350 each
- has motion control & amiibo support
- official support from nintendo
- less comfortable than Pro Controller, though the grip makes it a bit better
- can play 2 players for simple games like Bomberman R, Mario Kart etc
- not optimised for 2 player for games like Minecraft, Splatoon, FIFA, NBA due to limited buttons

8bitdo FC30 / NES30 Pro

Impulse should be a good deal.

There will be a new Dynasty Warrior like game, called Fire Emblem Warriors coming soon in falls 2017 on the Switch. They showed gameplay but haven't talk about what modes is available yet tho, and if 2 player coop is a thing yet. The only hack and slash for now.

Dragon Quest Heroes I&II, but not sure about 2 players co-op tho
