Did anybody get the "NINTENDO SWITCH OTVO 13 IN 1 SUPPER KIT"? http://www.impulse.com.my/nintendo/nintend...er-kit-red.htmlI am considering getting a Switch in preparation of Splatoon 2, so some items that would give the Switch some coverings would be good to have. The particular item I have listed seems to have most stuff, like card cases and the "LCD film" (I presume that's a screen protector?). Is this a good recommendation? Thank you for reading.

I have just ordered a Nintendo Switch from Impulse Gaming. Wonder when it will arrive. Probably not today, from the looks of it. It's the Mario Kart 8 + Pro Controller bundle, but I am more interested in the Pro, so that works out for me. Gotta prepare for Splatoon 2! Surprised they don't have a bundle for US.
Has anybody used one of those 8bitdo controllers on the Nintendo Switch? I noticed that Impulse Gaming are offering those at what seems like a decent price relative to the original US dollar value. The Pro seems to have most of the buttons of the standard controller, save for gyro and amiibo functionality, of course.
Thank you for reading.

QUOTE(LegendLee @ Jul 7 2017, 03:08 PM) By the pro. You mean the pro/cons of the 8bitdo controller right ? Don't know, I don't exactly see the point. Portability =joycons. Comfort = procontroller. Not to mention the L and ZL buttons are linear rather than stacked. The actual procontroller have gyro and amiibo. By Pro, I mean this: http://www.impulse.com.my/8bitdo-fc30-pro-...ml?keyword=fc30The 8Bitdo controller have a normal version and the Pro version, and of course, the Pro version has the standard buttons: - http://www.8bitdo.com/nes30-fc30/ (NOT Pro) - http://www.8bitdo.com/nes30pro-fc30pro/ (Pro) The interesting thing here is the 8Bitdo controller is apparently compatible with the Nintendo Switch in addition to PCs and Mobile after a firmware update (from what I heard), hence it's found in the Nintendo Switch products list. That is what I meant by the Pro controller. Sorry if it's not clear. Thank you for reading.

QUOTE(darksider @ Jul 7 2017, 05:50 PM) for those who wanna buy cheap arms / splatoon2 [if u buy arms, u get around rm50 discount for purchase of splatoon 2 in amazon jp ] u can get them in amazon jp. its code. 5812 yen is splatoon 2, if u buy arms, u get 500 yen discount voucher for purchase of splatoon, making it 5312 yen which is around rm200. its much better than getting those super cheap nintendo wallet. most of the cheap nintendo wallet codes are obtained by hackers who use compromised amazon accounts to purchase them with cardings/stolen cards. they are then either sold to retailer / sold in forum. From what I heard, Splatoon 2 is only Japanese version, unlike ARMS which is multi-language. Not sure that would work for me. Thank you for reading.

It seems that the Switch smartphone app will be available now, but will only start service when Splatoon 2 will be released. Moreover, it appears that only US and Australia can download it now. I wonder if Malaysia or other countries will have this app, but I guess if Miitomo isn't downloadable in Malaysia, then I guess it's not available for us? QUOTE(ChannelChan @ Jul 14 2017, 11:41 AM) where can i get a screen protector ? I got mine from Impulse Gaming, so it would be a good place to start with. Thank you for reading.

QUOTE(kuroneko0509 @ Oct 5 2017, 06:09 PM) which eshop region? if us just use amazon, worst case just grab from local reseller. I think there's still some of them left in garage zone if jp... right now apparently there's mass out of stock, no idea why. but when it's in stock, amazon jp or just use your debit card directly, unless your bank disallowed it. I am interested in the US version, so I am curious about Amazon. This is one of the results returned in the search: https://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-eShop-Gift-...d/dp/B00U6DT4CG If it's bought from Amazon, will the code be e-mailed, or will they send you the actual card? Also, since I set my region to US, is Maybank Debit card eligible? Thank you for reading.

Wow, you all bought the Nintendo Switch when it's cheaper, which I wish I could have done since I bought mine back in July 2017 for Splatoon 2, when it was more expensive (I think it was RM2099) and comes with mandatory Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Nintendo Switch Pro Controller (plus 3 Animal Crossing amiibo but that's not important). The items aren't bad but I wished there were a Splatoon 2 bundle earlier, or got it later when Super Mario Odyssey was released as a bundle.
Thankfully there are no more forced bundles but I wish they stopped this practice earlier. Even better is that $60 games are cheaper now but sadly we'll never get back to pre-2015 prices.
Anyway, are there any repair places where I can go to? My right Joy-Con has a bit of malfunction where the controller cannot be used as a separate controller (meaning the light isn't on, plus pressing SL and SR doesn't register as a control).
Thank you for reading.

QUOTE(DarkTenno @ Jun 5 2018, 05:58 PM) maybe the battery is not charging? To clarify on this issue, I can use the L+R like a controller, but not R itself. Meaning that I can play Super Mario Odyssey normally when I separate the Joy-cons from the device, but the R controller cannot be used for the second player (L is OK). Basically the issue is that the R controller is a bit spoiled so I need to know who can do it, since that happened after the 3-month warranty for controllers (which is a real shame). Thank you for reading.

What are the best MicroSD cards for the Switch? Ideally between 128GB and 256GB, and price should be affordable, preferably the cheaper the better.
Thank you for reading.
