So with rumours of the new Switch 2019 hitting end of this year, I cant decide if I want to get a Switch now or just wait until the refreshed version comes out

UPDATE:

Bought the Switch anyway, starting off with Zelda and Mario Kart 8. Feels really good in the hands too

If you no plan to get DLC (region lock), physical copy basically no difference if u play EU in US account.
Aside from that, you also cannot claim the gold coin under reward cause differ region.

Man.. Over two hours improvement. More than the lite. Do the lite Switch get the battery upgrade as well?

Also, new joycon colours. The purple/orange pair are nice. Maybe I will get them..

The new switch must be using the tegra x1 mariko(16nm) compared to old tgra x1 logan(20nm) chip. Mariko also have higher gpu clock speed. I think nintendo just using the new chip for power efficiency & not for bump in gpu clock speed

Hi guys, I'm planning to pick up a Switch soon which will be my first console ever. However I'm worried that there might be issues with Joycon since so many people complain about the drifting problem, lawsuit even!

So I wonder how many of you guys here have the drifting problem? Also I already got 1 3rd party iPega controller so I can just buy a 8bitdo or Magic-NS to use it right?

Lastly, it's ok to buy used game right? I might pick up a copy of BotW used if it doesn't affect the game in any way.
