Interest to Nintendo switch but very new to this unit. Saw many people selling their game. The game is transferable? Or no copyright issue?

Purchased NS recently and with two game cards, Mario Party n Mart Kart 8 Deluxe. Try to claim gold points but msg came out below.
"you cannot collect my nintendo points for this software as the expiration date has passed" Do this meant if we wanna buy those physical cards game better buy those new launched one which less than a year? Do this principle apply to those game on eshop? |

Which seller? So I can take note when order from Shopee.
Also Australia is under which rating to differentiate? I only know ESRB rating is US mostly. If Cero rating is Japan/Asia. Pegi rating is Europe. QUOTE(FrogBlob @ Dec 26 2019, 03:57 AM) So I bought Mario Odyssey from Shopee and they sent me Aus version instead of US version. And being a dummy I already teared open abit so I don't think can return. This post has been edited by jhleo1: Dec 26 2019, 09:37 AMIs the Aus ver going to affect anything? Like DLC and whatnot. I know the Switch is region free but I'm confused regarding cross-region DLC |

I bought the same game but from truegamers which cheapest on 13/12 after applied voucher. The game is under US ESRB.
Otakuya given good comments by buyers. I search your link and buyers game photos showed ESRB. Weird he gave you diff. QUOTE(FrogBlob @ Dec 26 2019, 06:01 PM) I see. Thanks Otakuya. I bought my Switch and 4 games from them, only Mario Odyssey being the odd duck. Other than that mostly positive experiences with them. Australia has their own rating system. Quite easy to spot because their badge quite big. [attachmentid=10380183] Alright, Imma check it out later. Thanks for your help! |

If not mistaken, I saw pple complaint on this in shopee in one of the seller too in the review. Therefore, from now on, it is better to clarify with the seller if anyone really concern on what region of the game card came from.
Thanks. QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Dec 27 2019, 08:22 AM) |
