Today rm15 already posted on internet banking.

Just got a shock when I checked my statement this month... surprised it says unlimited cash rebate. Just checked and no 5% for online spend anymore. Time to cancel this card liao since got other cards alr for groceries and stuff

yes this card is next to useless now. just cancel it

I need this card to participate in Samsung Pay-Mastercard Malaysia contest.
The only MC I got.

guys currently I am still on Enrich CC card,
and I am thinking of canceling the card to get another card with better point redemption (since Enrich card is RM4 - 1 bonus mile)
but I still have EPP on my enrich card.

can I transferred my EPP to new card?
Or do I have to settle the EPP first?

Hi all, new to credit cards and recently been approved and sent my CIMB card. Thing is I applied for a card, and I was sent 2. One Visa, one Mastercard. Mastercard is a cashback card, the Visa card is a point rebate card. I was just wondering why the bank sent me 2 cards? I'm not sure of the purpose of having the 2nd card. Can someone enlighten me?

The answer is simple. They want to achieve their sales target to earn some commission. Cancel those unnecessary CC if you didn't apply for it.

CIMB Bank should retain their 5% cash rebates for online spending instead of cancelled it. Not sure why they made this decision.

I just applied the cash back CC oct but never received and activate the card via sms. So after knowing about the 0.2 cash back I rather not activate it even if I received it. I heard the CC agent said the card will be automatically canceled after not activated for 6 months. So should I just leave it as it is or cancel it?

if u dun require the card better cancel to clear up ur ccris. or u may set the credit limit to the minimum if u want to keep it.

Ahhh got it, thanks. Seems a bit sneaky to slip in an extra card like that just to try to meet a quota.

hopefully CIMB would reinstate the benefits < 1.5 years once realised the market share has dropped significantly

I'm waiting for my last cash back before call to cancel. Hopefully same offer.
