If I have extra balance in my credit card and I cancel it, can I request it to be refunded to my CIMB bank account? Or I need to spend it?

I think after they changed the cash rebate policy, its no point keeping this CC right?
Like last time online foreign purchases is 5% cash rebate. So for now its only 2%? Pandai lah they all, sighhhhh |
