I just started calculating my cash back this month. The following transactions are eligible for 5% online transactions cash back:

- Expedia (EXPEDIA XXXXXXXXXXXXX EXPEDIA.MY ES)
- KFC Delivery via website (KFC DELIVERY-EC KUALA LUMPUR MY)
- Dominos Pizza via website (DOMINO'S PIZZA SELANGOR MY)
- GSC via website (GSC ALAMANDA PUTRAJAYA PUTRAJAYA MY)
- AWS bill (Amazon web services aws.amazon.coUS)
- Microsoft Office 365 monthly subscription (MICROSOFT *OFFICE 36 XXXXXXXXXX SG)
- Grab (*GRAB TAXI PETALING JAYAMY)

The following transactions are eligible for 2% groceries cash back:

- Mymydin (MY MYDIN-PUTRA WALK SERI KEMBANGAMY)

Sadly, one transaction which I was hoping to get 5% cash back only got 0.2% cash back:

- YNAB yearly subscription (YOU NEED A BUDGET LEHI US)

Not sure why I didn't get it since it's obviously an online transaction. Any clues why?

Overall, my cash back for this card is only 1.92% and 1.69% for principal and supplementary respectively. It's low because I only found out PTPTN didn't qualify for 5% cash back anymore.

Called CIMB for Taobao Hangzhou issue and they said nothing much can be done as posting is done by merchants. They want me to contact Taobao to address this issue.

So, in short nothing can be done until someone can find out how this posting is done.

How about the Lazada case then?
Got two descriptions also.

At least Lazada is app and desktop version, still easy to differentiate and I'm sure they will ask you guys to contact merchant too.

That's why. I questioned why Taobao SH is entitled, what's the difference? He answered me, I'm not the first customer to call to complain about this and CIMB can't do anything. It's posted by merchant.

How on earth Taobao HZ can be tagged under groceries?

if each of you follow up with CRU/BNM, i am sure CIMB will get this fixed but that is just my thought 

could it be lazada changed their payment gateway causing the MCC code is not eligible for 5% cashback ?

I just used the Lazada prepaid card and spend rm170.15  on Lazada last month on the Lazada apps. And as recent transaction came, the cash rebate was regarded as cash rebate other retails at 0.5% and not 15%.

I don't know why, any idea where I can dispute this matter?

Hi. On April I logged in cimbclicks and saw their lazada RM200 voucher for application of credit card,so I applied via cimbclicks and got my card after 1 week. Last week i called customer service(CS) why i haven't received the voucher yet, CS told me that they would open a report for my case and send me the voucher code later.

After few days CS called me and asked me where I made application, i answered cimbclicks. CS said lazada voucher only given to those applied on cimb website not cimbclicks, I only entitled 10,000 airasia big point.

I refused and said i would go to check cimb website. Lazada voucher promotion has disappeared on cimb website, I didn't keep a copy of term of condition too. Suddenly i reminded that cimb website actually offered RM150 voucher and only need to swipe minimum RM500 within 60 days, promotion on cimbclicks website was RM200 voucher and need to swipe RM1000. I called CS again and told him about this, he said the lazada voucher finished and my only choice is 10,000 airasia big point.

I am disappointed with contradictory of CS, been using this card regularly since April and thinking to keep it but now feel cheated. 

Can anyone make some suggestion how can I protect my right as a consumer? How if i call them again or email but still same answer?
