Can anyone enlighten me about CIMB Easy Payment Plan (0%).

How do we do this EPP, is there any form to fill up during purchase, or we need to call bank after making the purchase or the merchant automatically does the EPP and we only need to pay accordingly?
*
I believe it will be the latter. Ask the participating merchant to convert your swipe into EPP.
Participating merchant needs to have CIMB terminal.

No form is needed to fill up, merchant will just swap the card and option for EPP depend on how many months you want.

Example:
- Buy an item from SenQ, make sure they have provide for EPP for CIMB credit card user
- Mention to them about EPP and how many months (6/12/24/26) you want.
- After swiped, a receipt will be given, you are able to see the amount for the instalment.
- Monthly instalment value will be appear in the statement and just pay accordingly until end of it.

I called CIMB CS regarding some matters and also to check regarding PTPTN.

The CS say PTPTN paid at the PTPTN office falls under other retail spend at 0.2% CB. meanwhile PTPTN paid online is 5% under online spending.

I think the revised T&C on government services does not change anything for PTPTN payment and CB

Let's see until actual sharing by our fellow forummers. biggrin.gif

the best is for someone to make payment to PTPTN or LHDN so that we can verify if it falls under 0% or 5% cash rebate nod.gif

Yes. But can pay online, may still get 5% cash back if they didn't remove it out after some revision.

Yes, pay on time, pay full and don't use it to withdraw cash then you are good to go. Welcome to CC world. tongue.gif
By the way, you just need to pay the amount stated in your statement before due date.

Mind to share the worst case scenario if I didn't pay it in full?

Example: my outstanding balance is RM1,000 but i only pay RM500

How much the penalty? Per anum or daily?

Thanks

I'm very bad in this part, maybe others can advise but I know interest is counted on daily basis.
