frankly, i have setup 2 Redmi Note 3, 1 Redmi Note 4(MTK version), 1 Redmi Note 4 (SD version) within the last 3 months.  All were without problem with GPS.  All are working perfectly.

It is better to send it for warranty claim, and share with us your claim experience.

The strange thing is

Google Map works perfectly fine.
WAZE sucks on the other hand.

But if Google Map works fine why GPS Status (an app I downloaded from playstore) keep showing me "looking for GPS location?"

The mystery continues...... hmm.gif

Google map seems to work better with cellular and wifi location. It can locate you even without GPS signal but when you try to navigate then you can't use it.

Google Map works fine with me including navigation but unfortunately I stop using it when it brought me to a palm oil estate instead of my actual destination. rclxub.gif

Google Map can use cellular data or wifi to determine your current location but is approx only and may not use GPS.

Hi everyone, i just bought Redmi 4x Malaysia Set

Wondering, do anyone facing auto-disconnect Bluetooth? When i pair with my car player, it will disconnect within 5 mins and sometimes auto re-connect by itself. Kinda not stable.

you may want to disable the battery optimisation in the setting for the music / podcast apps. See if that is the root cause.

Testing the 2nd sim slot..

Location: Alor Setar, Kedah.

1st slot: Umobile, prepaid. NO 4G, only H+. Set 3G, for calls only.
2nd slot: Digi, prepaid. 4G, full bar. Set 4G, for internet only.

Those who use 2 sim cards, any significant battery drainage, or just slightly more than usual single sim?

I don't see any different. Sometimes may drain more due to heavy GPS or games loading.
But I use sim1 as main call & internet. May be using call & internet separately may drain more?

You won't regret for 4GB/64GB. Especially when you need to use 2 sim
