Hi,
Can the SD version of Note 4 supports all LTE bands in Malaysia? Read from gsmarena, there is only 3 LTE bands, and supporting only 1 LTE in Malaysia. The DirectD import version.

Please kindly assist. Thanks.

Answering my own question.

The model sold by Wow Phone is of model 2016102. This is the model with more LTE bands and should cover all telco in Malaysia and most in the region.

The one from India is model 2016100. That model only has 3 LTE bands.

But it's a snapdragon 625 can run as good as high spec phone?
*
It is a Snap dragon mid range processor. Don't expect it to rival Samsung S8 range of flagship products. But for everyday use, it is really adequate.

Nope open Google AdWords already lag like hell its a snapdragon 650

not a fanboy here. smile.gif

But just tried Adwords express, and Adwords. Both apps loaded fast. like 1-2 seconds. Maybe you have a lot of Ads running and the app takes time to load all. It is the responsiveness of the app that count. The rest are internet connection speed and amount of contents.

I've used high ASP and average ASP devices. Some of the expectation on this tered PRETTY FUCKING RIDICULOUS you know?

Fuck, you expect rm1k device to perform like a rm3k device?

Go fuk  yourself if you're such a miser.
*
Bro. I totally agree with you. It is a mid range phone with mid range price.... or even can be considered entry level price. That is good enough. We have to adjust our expectation. Can't compare the Redmi Note 4 to a S8, right? rclxub.gif For its price, the Redmi Note 4 is a worthy device that serves most people well.

this reply may be abit derailing.. when time are tough people will appriace every cent that they spent, this may be leading to high expectation to the things they buy.. previously u can get mid range phone within this price bracket.. this phone shud be cheaper if the conversion rates like 2years back heck with this budget i bought meizu m1notes n it still serve me well despite screen crack. But that is my 2 cent only.
*
Sure. Sometimes we have to ask ourselves. What do we need on our phone? Would having app opening 1 second faster really worth the extra money we pay? High camera resolution is important to some and no so to others
Of course, we have different needs. I should not be criticizing others for putting priority differently from mine. Just that the poster who ranted about the unrealistic expectations people have in this phone. I agreed with him on that.

It is a decent phone, in my humble opinion, with the right price. If it fits your budget, go ahead. I'm very happy with mine and it can fulfill my needs and more.

As for currency, there is nothing we can do but to accept the reality of the depreciated RM.

Try it with Mi Band 2. More functions can be attained with this combination. Cheers

why my battery performance really bad?

left 34%.. my sot only 5 hour +.

does using 2 sim drain the battery?
*
How about standby time? How much time was your phone on battery?

Perhaps can take a screenshot of your Battery Usage and share here. We can then understand better.

really bad battery performances... vmad.gif

why everybody even get 15h SOT?
*
Based on my humble opinion, the battery life seems reasonable. You have almost 2 days on battery power. The standby and idle do take up some battery.

Others having high SOT may be due to high usage. If you browse internet within a day, I believe you can get 10 hours SOT.

No trolling intended. But Note 4/4X is on SD625, Note 3 on SD650. I am really not a tech junky, that's why I brought up the concern I have before I buy Note 4. hmm.gif
*
In term of processor performance, note 4x is a downgrade from Note 3. However, it gains battery performance because snapdragon 625 is more battery friendly. Generally, users can claim to have better battery performance of note 4x compare to note 3.

Camera wise, frankly, both are just decent camera phone. If you rely on quality of photo for serious matters, don't buy this phone.

Dear sifus and owners,

Just would like your advise regarding redmi note 4 or mi note 1.
Both is around similar price rm7xx

Redmi note 4 - fingerprint scanner
Mi note 1 - bigger screen

Are the processor, ram, camera, battery comparable?

Have a nice day!
*
Mi Note 1 is a better phone. Just that battery is a bit smallish in today standard. 3000mah vs 4100mah (Note 4)

Basing solely on spec, Note 1 seems to be a more capable phone. Camera should be better than Note 4.

You should check for LTE bands that is compatible to U.K. Telco. Otherwise, you won't be able to get LTE signals.
Try frequencycheck.com

Iphone is generally better in this aspect because it has many LTE bands.

Dear all,
May I know how the apps are arranged in this phone. Is it like Samsung where the latest installed will be listed on the last page? On my zenfone, they are arranged alphabetically, which is a PITA.
*
The newly added apps will be aded to the last page.

I've got problem. Can detect SIM. But no services. When connected to WiFi. Webe name show up. I'm using webe btw. Already change with other similar from different telco. Still no service. It detected SIM card but no service. Any help? Thanks
*
4x Snapdragon version should support LTE band 5 850mhz of which Webe is operating on. Can you try with another SIM card?
