I hope this place stay a dead town. I really like the quiet ambiance.

Let the dislike continue to criticise, so long we enjoy living in Cyber and happily enjoy the peaceful surrounding.
Regardless how bad it is, ive been living in Cyberjaya since 2007 til 2012, then moved to stay in Cheras & PJ for close to 6 years, I'm still in love with Cyberjaya eventually & moved back to Cyberjaya.
I don't deny it is a bit far from places like 1u & Kepong, but I'm working at Bangsar south currently(close to 4 years), I'm very happy with the travel time + distance. Just that you'll need to spare a little bit more for the MEX & LDP toll fares.
Not to mention, travelling to Puchong, Sunway & KL isn't far if you compare to the time spent travelling to the same destination from many other places. You might spent double the time if you travelling from some other places within klang valley.

In return you get to enjoy greener surrounding, peaceful and quiet ambience. But everything you need is basically so accessible, by average within 3km radius. No need to worry about traffic, parking , etc.
Imagine you stay in Sri Petaling or SS2, even though the shop is nearby, how long do you need to spend to look for a parking lot so that you can park your car? In Cyberjaya, you just park, pick up and go. Even if you want to go grocery to just buy a bottle of milk, you don't need to headache about looking for parking.

Yes, if looking from investment & food options perspective, I don't deny Cyberjaya is not the place you should look for. The non-halal options is still kinda limited, but those that sustained their business in Cyberjaya in general selling decent dishes. Cause the lousy one all closed shop ady due to no demand.

It is really depending on what you really want.

To me, Cyerjaya is still the township which suits me best for living.
Up to the rest who keep criticising Cyberjaya. No matter what we still have our own community with a group of people who are in love and enjoy living in Cyberjaya.

If all the units are occupied, cbj population would be >3 times of current.

Note that Cyberjaya "condition" is no longer the same as those days ya... MPS struggle to keep up with the maintenance works without gov pouring in $ since after Pak Lah, Najib tried to continue cash the cow with CCC but even that got abandoned.

Public bus service got cut, endless of potholes and poor traffic lights(continue to get knock down FF drivers), non-functioning lamp post not getting fixed, poor mobile coverage in resident zone, ghost condo.

The street lights condition are getting even crazier as the years goes by.

Too dark when driving at night, like watching DC film.

Hi, new to the thread but judging from the posts here, it seems like ppl that hates cyberjaya are mostly investors. I am thinking of moving to cyberjaya and from my experience going around there, it is quite nice isnt it? plus the prop prices also become reasonable now. So why not right?

Different people have different priorities that contributes to buying their houses. Some people like certain places and some people dont. So, just buy whatever you heart and wallet tells you too. Moving forward, in a long term regardless of the financial situation, residential properties will always be in demand provided we are not at war.
