Oh well..i guess so...just wanna know estimation of those whom have been there...so that i wouldn;t overchange the currency...
I realised that charging through credit card I receive a better rate compared to the money changer...coz i just booked the hotel and paid exchange rate of (10.628) compared to the selling rate of wawasan money changer at (10.67)

By the way i'm going during July...which i estimate at that time would be even hotter than msia doh.gif

I'm definitely gonna bring all the lycra type of material clothings haha coz sweating is a definite rclxub.gif

I'm sure taiwanese (girls) will wear lesser clothings then too brows.gif

come across this website (chinese ver) when i look for my accommodation, should be reliable since i check out their fan page got enormous amount of ppl o_o
if u wan review on it u need search for chinese ver : 日租王.
as i recall from the review i found, their shared room had bad sound proof.

i did not pick this 1 as i see most of their cheaper rooms for 1/2 person is quite small sweat.gif

i picked 台北部屋 (taipeiroom) for my may/june taipei visit, will give a short review when back smile.gif

Jz FYI who want to know the update on currency exchange, when i withdraw money from Taiwan ATM, I actually got a good exchange rate from CIMB which is RM10.48 per NT100 but need to add Rm10 per transaction la...if you withdraw more, then it's a good rate.

Also, I was at  Suria KLCC last week, I kinda pass thru one of the money exchange counter and jz out of curiousity, i checked out the Taiwan exchange. OMG is RM10 to NT100 exactly. I'm not sure if it's still the same but this is a very good deal... you can go there and check out yourself if u want, just sharing what I saw. but don't come back and scold me if there's no more that rate la...hahha

i recomend you use credit card at taiwani coz the rate will be better unless sudden overnight drop in myr. always better then wawasan best rate, example today base rate is 10.33 by cc you wil get maybe 10.40-10.45 but the best rate at wawasan today is 10.6. it was from my experience last time.

The reason why using ATM or even CC in cheaper in Taiwan is very obvious- The money changers in M'sia is selling NT$ higher than market rate. smile.gif

So the best way, if you need cash b4 going and dunwan to risk, ATM not activated or certain CC cannot be used, Better change to US$ 1st & thereafter to NT$ in the airport. Just follow the guide on pg1

Hey guys, I'm bringing my grandmother and family (not youngster trip, or shopping trip) so I saw this webpage http://www.asiatravel.com/package.html# recommended at the front few page, was wondering is this site reliable??? I saw the 7D6N is the itinerary is very perfect especially since I'm bringing my grandmother, the trip consist of sceneries and temples and historic places, so I think this itinerary is nice? Have anyone of you tried this site before? I wanna know the main thing is it reliable? If yes, will book it right away since I am going on the mid of June

I think June is not a good month to go Taiwan.. it's hot.. maybe u can consider during month Sept onward..

Btw better go for reliable and popular traveler.. U can try Eva airline or China airline.. they got tour too.. last time got a member here joined their tour too
