Guess I can try to make a mcmc report on that . Why is it compulsory to take hypptv where the billing for both of them are separate?

TM didnt force you, you sign the agreement when they spelled out the TnC on phone or in the form you signed biggrin.gif
but we still hope you successfully get to MCMC and everyone of us will be happy to remove HyppTV laugh.gif

Reporting my experience at my house at The Lake Residence, Puchong.

After having Unifi 30Mbps installed on 18/2, I really thought that I would get the free speed upgrade to 50Mbps. However, after having check the thankyousurprise microsite 2x on 2 different dates, I was not offered that upgrade, instead got the offer of either free Jumbo pack or Webe sub. I have also engaged their CS via TM Chat, and still no joy. Reason given was that my area has "technical limitation" and it is clearly stated in their TnC that is a valid reason for not offering the speed upgrade. cry.gif

I am so disappointed learning that. Just wondering if anyone else at my taman is experiencing the same thing? Does anyone else also have installed 50Mbps at my taman?

Have you tried apply for 50mbps package for the same roll of your house? I actually tried "apply" for 100mbps before I apply for 50mbps package to be upgraded to 100mbps. But of course i am not sure whether this is an accurate way of testing it out. tongue.gif

I remember there was one guy mentioning some time back that he will make complaint after 1 year of HyppTV usage and request TM to remove it. No news after that.

Oh well. Tough luck but worth trying.

What does it mean when you want to register for UNifi and they tell you they need to make a survey at your area first?

Means not enough ppl in your area want to subscribe.

TM wants more ppl to subscribe before committing to install unifi

A bit ridiculous since most of the other houses have unifi already. Sigh. They said it will take 5-7 days. Port full konon.

Maybe it's cos they want more people to take up before they increase port.

One port may be can take say only 50 ppl but maybe only 5 ppl request so far.

Since there is no competition, no choice but to wait.

Unless you go for wireless broadband

That area also seems to be Maxis area, but Maxis side ran out of allocated port from TM, so they have to beg from TM for more. At least that's what I was told by Maxis. memang no competition like that. Sigh.

I noticed wireless broadband now no more unlimited quota huh? Most is 50gb per month by digi.

How about Streamyx, port shouldn't be a problem for streamyx, like unifi, right?
