Is this a reasonable build and price? Or should i go for 1700x ( but overclocking 1700 should do the same perfomance )z If game priority drop to Ryzen 5 1600 , 8gb ram & cpu cooler. Get a GTX 1070. Overclocking cpu won't improve much on FPS in games. Ryzen 5 still capable with 6 core while ram & cpu cooler can add later which also don't improve much on FPS. QUOTE(kingkingyyk @ May 8 2017, 07:59 AM) Yes. You also gain access to 8 cores later, while Intel you will probably stuck at 6 cores (Coffee Lake). Is it not overkill for Normal user which only some do some video editing and Photoshop/illustrator to get Ryzen 1600?This post has been edited by christina1: May 10 2017, 12:30 PM |

They are mostly dont know anything. Listen to people who actually owns it.On a side note, Ryzen isn't exactly 50% faster than an i5, it just having 50% more cores (and far more threads). If want compare performance, per core performance is more relevant, which I doubt Ryzen will be better than i5. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4272247/+40 |
