Anyone sent car to service @ Tiong Nam Setia Alam ? How is their service ? TQ
*
I have and my experience wasnt' good. Firstly, I booked an appointment well in advance, arrived early and yet had to wait close to an hour before they'd call my number. Those walk-in customers got processed before I did.
When the technician worked on my car, they didn't place protective mats on the paint and scratched it badly.
When they washed my car. It went in without even a single scratch, came out with bad scratches all over.
To top it all off, It's already almost a month and I have yet to hear from them about my warranty claim status.

The only consolation is that their lounge is comfy and they do provide hot drinks, water and some kuih.

Hi guys.. am expecting my 1.8 MS civic this coming friday.. and was thinking to add Modulo BK (or atleast ducktail) at outside acc shop.. I am well aware that my action will cost me my warranty being void but can someone here can clarify or confirm which part's warranty are gonna affected?

like for spoiler since there's some electrical works done and punching holes onto the bonet, there goes the warranty for the whole bonet and and tail lights(i believe the installer gonna pull the wire for spoiler light from here).

but other part of bodykits? rear, side and front skirting will affecting what actually?

Did u complain to them regarding all the scratches?

The technician who worked on my car rattling dashboard leaved a small mark on my cluster meter panel. Its like the anti-reflective coating has been chipped off or something and its very very visible.

I called them up and make a appointment for inspection tomorrow. I'm wondering will they even try to fix it for me since it might require them to change the whole cluster meter panel.

Got both Android (work) & iOS (personal). AA can't play Apple Music unfortunately sad.gif AFAIK laaaaa...

-edit-

qualify this a bit, Apple Music can be played in the background, but couldn't be controlled via Android Auto.

been told by SC at mofaz there would be a software update to fix(tested by thai honda) the rattling/relay noise from steering wheel(vsa/abs related).

they acknowledged the issue and can be fixed by replacing modulator but they asked me to wait for the new software and if doesn't fix then only change the modulator.

1 thing i dislike was they actually told me not to go for replacing part first because the part is quite exp(rm8k+) but seriously? that is not my problem at all. doh.gif

If the motorcyclist is at fault, make sure the police says it so in the report (and police summon the motorcyclist). Once that's done, no need to bother with claiming the motorcycle's 3rd party insurance, just claim from your own insurance under Own Damage Knock-For-Knock (OD-KFK). No impact to your NCD and less hassle.

Just ensure the police report sides with you.

First time I know i can claim from my own insurance without impact to NCD.

But in my case, the motorist is a very good person. He already paid me full. Already placed the order for the parts, need to wait for honda to call me to go install.

Rear bonnet and tail lights is not the main concern.

Don't add like Hondata or Racechip. These will void engine and GB warranty and it's expensive.

Got my new car last week, just hit 300km,and I started hearing some weird sound from the right of my dashboard. Guess it's the known rattling noise...

Is it a common problem and can be easily solved by SC?
